The proper scientific name (very befitting) for the Queen Alien is cited below taken from the Alien Resurrection novelization. I'd like to add that the novel wasn't published until 2015 (18 years after the film), written by A.C. Crispin before she died (1950-2013).
A.C. Crispin wrote 24 novels, including tie-in stories for Star Trek, Star Wars, V and Pirates of the Carribean.
“Like a nightmare shadow, Regina horribilis – the Queen Alien – stepped into the light just enough to be seen.”
Alien Resurrection novelization, page 53.
(Engineer vs. Queen in the Dark Horse comic, above)
And Regina knows how to read English, below.
"The name on one of the observers garment read Perez. The names on the other two read “Gediman” and “Wren.” The sign over the mechanism that opened the door they had entered through read, (capitalized) “you must summon the guard on duty before the door will be opened.”
Alien Resurrection novelization page 55.
By the way, the novel is bodacious.
