Latest comments by Alien fans on news, forum discussions and images!
I think Bob Chapek is going to really shake things up & go ALL-IN on key franchises, giving Us fans truley what We want & have wanted for ages: THE DIVINITIVE VERSION/S & CONTENT OF FILMS THE WAY THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE. The cheese factor taken out of them & restoring film narratives to how the originals that spawned them came about in the first place.
e
Well eff me? Of course someone had thought this up.
Ant Man and Wasp should fight against Predator, on the Xenomorph side.
It's a bug thing.
Ant Man and Wasp versus the Black Goo.
They shrink down and battle the pathogen on it's own terms!
That sounds like River of Pain.
Not sure if Disney wants to deal with children (and their horrific deaths) in movies?
You can't really market the franchise as kid friendly?
Still, it's always possible fans will see some sort of Alien vs. Predator vs. Avengers crossover down the road. (IGN).
THE END.
It's David Finch, not Fincher. So Marvel will do the comics then the films after the comics.
I can't afford any high hopes for the moment.
Not a Marvel / Disney fan.
Hi,
I did not read the whole discussion, sorry, so I may repeat some arguments, but still I want add my two cents.
Firstly I am against ignoring any Alien films (except AvP) it would be disrespectful for those films, actors, crew members and fans. But I would be more than open to creating BluRay/Disney+ re-editions of Prometheus, Alien: Covenant, Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection that would fixed problems an inconsistencies and would be new canon and Alien 5 would be sequel for the new cannon.
Saying that I would love to see direct sequel to Alien Resurrection. And it is only option for seeing Sigourney Weaver without de-ageing fighting Xenomorphs due to her Xeno DNA. Just imagine that Queen in Alien Resurrection was taken from Ripley 7 and that from Ripley 8 was transported on to another military base. United Systems Military would learn from the epic disaster of USM Auriga and would be far better prepared for potential Xenomorph escape. I have some cool ideas to be included in script (e.g. Annalee Call's religiosity and can she even be a Christian, especially that she follows ultra conservative branch of Catholics like SSPX), but I still don't have ideas for the main action parts (I imagine that USM would like to take advantage of that Xenomorphs would treat Ripley 8 as part to the hive.
@BlackAnt
Scale is always a Funny thing to Gauge ;)

Above is what a 20ft Engineer would look like compared to a Human and a 13ft Engineer (which is my Estimate for the Space Jockey Size). I think even if we introduce something to NEW to be the Space Jockey then the 20ft Scale would be RIGHT if we look at the Shot from when the Nostromo Crew Enter the Pilot Chamber... but the Illusion is ruined at Close Shots where the Space Jockey Prop was 16ft in Length.
I think introducing the Space Jockey to be 10-12ft that has Grown out of the Chair would be Sufficient ;)
It is a Shame that with Prometheus we never used Digital Effects to give us at least 10ft Tall Engineers.
The WAR OF THE WORLDS comment comes across as Tongue in Cheek...
I think RS intends to have Continued the Prequels to Connect to ALIEN (another TWO) but then he would think the PLOT would leave it OPEN to then go about with a War of the Worlds...
A War of the Worlds Plot would Conflict with the Franchise unless.
1) It is SET after ALIENS so in the Time-Line of 2180+
2) RS intended to RETCON the Franchise after ALIEN.
3) The WAR takes place in a FAR part of the Galaxy away from Mankind on Earth.
Certainly for Weyland-Yutani their would be more Interesting things to had gained from the Engineers than the Bio-Weapon and Never mind the Xenomorph.
Well i think the IDEA does offer some Interesting ways to Evolve the Story.
1) If this Virus/Infection is Engineered by Humans or Engineers to RID of the Xenomorph Plague you would be WISE to have a KILL SWITCH or something with the resulting Zombie-Morphs where they would Eventually DIE-OUT.
If you Fail to do so... or they Mutate to continue to Procreate then the Creator of the Virus would have just replaced ONE threat with a Greater One.
2) If NOT option (1) then maybe the ONLY way to Combat the Zomie-morphs would be to Experiment and Engineer the Xenomorphs to gain some Immunity to the Virus and THUS you can then USE them to Extinguish the Threat.
But we know that Experimenting with stuff can OFTEN lead to a HUBRIS.
So Actually the PLOT does have some Options to Expand into NEW Territory ;)
Welcome Back
I think that Certainly there is a Horrific Story that preceded Aliens, the Fall of Hadleys Hope.
I am not so sure Theatrically it would be a GREEN LIGHT though, because we kind of KNOW what Happened from Aliens.
A Novel or Comic adaption however would be Interesting.
Maybe more so... a Survival Horror Game! but this is something that Someone who posts on here has been working on for a Number of Years.
Well i think its STILL one of the Mysteries with the Xenomorph. There are some Interesting Explanations on here and some FAR OUT wild ones lol
But at the END of the Day they are just Carried over from the HR Giger Necronom 4 Art and so maybe ONLY he had the Real Purpose and this could merely be to look Aesthetically Alien and Different with NO Purpose.
If we are trying to Logically come up with a Reason for them, we have to maybe consider what would Conflict what we think about them.
Do they release Pheromones, Particles that Effect the Environment? Do they regulate Temperature, do they play a Role in the Xenomorphs Metabolism or Digestive System (Xenomorph Fart Flutes) who knows!
I think we have to look at WHO/WHAT does-not have them...
The Queen lacks them so Unless the Queen is much Different from a Biological Standpoint then for each Reason we can think of for them we have to look at the Queen.. Breathing Pipes? Then WHY does the Queen not have them etc.
Then you have to look at WHY the Runner in Alien 3 does-not have them? Although it was Intended to have them but then Fincher at Shooting said NAH! leave them OFF.
When looking at the Movies then i think the Most Logical Explanations is they have something to do with the Cocooning/Hive Wall Construction. But if you IGNORE the Deleted Scene in ALIEN we cant tell if the Drone can encase a Host in that Residue etc.
The Queen does-not have them because its the JOB of the None Queens to establish the Hive.
The ONLY Problem with this is SHOULD the Runner had NOT also had the Dorsal Pipes? It was Intended but we have to look at WHAT we got.
So THEN we have to maybe look at it being something that is in Relation to the Human or Humanoid Genome.
Biologically there is NOT a lot of Difference between Land Mammals... Bone Structure is somewhat different, we lack a Full Tail, Intelligence wise we are Superior, our Hands and Feet are different to Paws... but NONE of these should explain WHY the Dorsal Tubes are NOT on the Runner.
So then we are MAYBE left with ONLY a single Answer.
They are a Engineered/Encoded Mutation that is Programed to ONLY appear in Humans or other Humanoids.
Then we are back to Square ONE as to ask WHY?
Is it something to AID with the Procreation of the Species, do the Creators NOT want other Organisms gain the Tubes for some Specific Reason?
But if its a Designed Creature intended to KILL and Procreate to KILL more and the Dorsal Tubes are a Necessary to allow for a Hive/Cocoon Hosts, then would NOT a Infection of other Organisms to make Deadly Morphs be just as Efficient to go and KILL?
So we really have to ASK to WHY only Human Born Morphs have those Dorsal Tubes... (for Example the Predator Born Morph has only the Spines) but we see its Procreation is Rapid and so No Need for a Host to be Cocooned) and so maybe this Points to the Purpose of it being to Cocoon a Host.
But then WHY does the Runner not have this and so we have to ASK as to IF and HOW does a Runner Procreate?
Maybe as it Detected a Queen then it does-not NEED to play a role in Procreation, but then surely would it NOT have the Dorsal Tubes so it can Cocoon Hosts for the Queens Eggs?
So YES this could be a MYSTERY.
IF and i think thats a BIG if we got a 3rd Prequel then who knows.....
I dont think that the Perfecting of Davids Queen would have meant we get to the Aliens Queen... i am not sure that RS would go and introduce the Cameron's Queen as a Money Shot for his Prequel Series.....
But with DISNEY in Control this could be something they would FORCE upon the Prequels.. but i cant see Disney being interesting in any kind of Continuation.
Back to the OT
I have already said that i DONT think you have to and that its WISE to just go and bring back Ellen Ripley. If they want to see Miss Weaver make a Return then i think they have to WORK with a Continuation of Ripley 8 or leave the Ripley Saga alone......
There are other Avenues to do a ALIEN V and as i have said i think you would have to STICK really close to the Xenomorph Aesthetic we have seen for this Reintroduction to the Franchise... at least in the FIRST Movie.
I think you lay some SEEDS down towards the Engineers so that this OPENS up something to go back to with a Sequel, but does-not Necessarily mean that has to be the case.
I think i may have to agree with LETO as far as HOW you END a New ALIEN Movie, by that we cant WRITE a Story that is Expecting Sequels in-case you simply WONT get any.
so you can leave some things that mean something could be OPEN to explore IF we got a Sequel.... and by that if you look at LV-223 after Prometheus, or LV-426 after Alien then they are left open to Explore....
Rather than a ENDING where it would indicate their is something NEXT.... such as the Prometheus Ending...
Yeah that must be it! You solved it! EUREKA!

We must a have a failure in communication here.

They emit that Elephant sound from Aliens. Trunks like an Elephant.
My original intention was to have the original Xennomorph Aliens in there while at the same time weaving-in Prometheus suggestive content & something new (to a degree) something familiar yet has been far removed from its original form. What could be the "thing" that has the Alien Xenomorph on defense & possibly terrified? Only something that is 180 degrees in the utter opposite from what it is. An infestation infesting the infestors! Try saying THAT when Your sober!
I assure You all I do not want this thing to be parried-up with the likes of Aliens vs Predators. I want to see not only characters evolve into a better fleshed-out version of themselves (i.e: Ripley, Newt, Burke, etc.) Equally, I want to see the Alien be challenged & tested by nature too. What better way than to see the creature have to face "itself" but perhaps the Human factor could have been that face-hugging a virus-ridden Human - lets say - could have began the whole "patient zero" concept for the "puritain" Xenomorphs. I don't know whether-or-not they can sense infected. sickly people & so wouldn't attempt to facehug that particular person to start with.
I would love a ping-ponging back-&-forth story where Our Heroe's & Villains are established as being in danger to the Xenomorph in some capacity/varying capacity, then over the course of a protracted story the threat level is amped-up a gear. Suddenly a larger skin of the onion is revealed & the grim nature of the "new" reality Our Heroes/Villians & Us, the Audience are now fully commited to dealing with. What would be compelling in some way is that many have encountered the Xenomorphs fleeing/fighting/dieing at the enconters with the infected Xeno-Horde menace. those people briefly witness the wall of infected surging into their colonies, smashing through obstacles, swarming structeres & causing things to break down as there are nobody left now to service the technology.
I always wondered if a scene a bit like Hickes peering up into the "attic" moment so-to-speak could begin a story, yes, You would see the brief glimpses of the Xenomorph but then rapid, on-coming destruction caused by the rabid Alien Horde crashing litterally through the superstructure to get at the "living"... in all its abhorent descriptions.
I could run the risk of copying but I am inspired by what I like just as George Lucas & Dave Filoni are paying homage to their favorite things/subject matter/intellectual fan wants & desires throughout the Clone Wars series. That's what motivates Me to want to weave themes together into some suggestion of a nugget but at a very hyper-raw stage, I would (fan likes & feed-back on here permitting) to proceed in futhering the idea now that a few of You jumped onto it with Me & that feels kinda'-cool!
So, if You all out there will indulge Me, I may try & weave this idea with You together, see where it goes-Huh! I kinda'like explosive beginnings to films sometimes. Others, I like the slow-burn-effect where the "event" builds on itself until Mid-Climax the said "event" breaks-out & You spend the second half of the film/movie watching the characters We-All just got to know get slowly wiped-out, developed further & elevated into legendary status & so-on.
I will try & post more things on here about other key scenes that I thought of before & without wanting nor trying to be or sound or come-off sounding repettitive. I would like to pursue some more of this to chit-chat with You all about. That's what's great about fan-service, it's a quiet thought process that is very rewarding when it goes in a welcomed direction. Sometimes its a hit & miss affair, but I'm always on the look-out for cool nugget-of-an-idea to riff-off-of about to someone who'll listen too! :-D !
We try sooooo hard to give you people good ideas and then....we get this back!

Maybe they are giant blenders where they make margaritas for a big dance party!!!!

In my opinion the dorsal tubes have no physiological function, they just add some weight to the skinny silhouette, make it look more impressive, like the crown for a king.
I would not be surprised if in the third film we got the Queen, which some scientist will try to stroke. xDDD
Isn't that what the fans of "the most recognizable film in the franchise" (quote BigDave) want?
>>>i mean look at the Alien Covenant Poster with Engineers vs Xenomorphs...... WTF they playing at?
Yeah! The poster promised us a mythical massacre. Add to this the footage from the filming with monumental stairs and charred engineers. But in the end - "Cabin in the woods."
>>>The Emphasis on David is maybe too much...
David is alright. Walter too. But other characters are neglected. Given that this is the second film in a row with this attitude to the characters, I would not be surprised if in the third film we got the Queen, which some scientist will try to stroke. xDDD
I forgot to add that Aliens has the most stupid soundtrack.
It should have been released on VHS only.
Alien3 is more of a war movie than Aliens, although it had no fire arms.
I think David is the most complex character of the franchise and he still has a lot to offer.
And I like a lot the good war movies.
What I don't like and don't want to see again is marines shooting aliens and generally any Cameron style Aliens, no matter how good are the special effects.
In my humble opinion the best characters were in Alien3, Alien and Alien Covenant. The rest don't matter too much.
On the other hand, killing Newt, Hicks and Ripley in Alien3 was the best decision, like killing Shaw and the Engineers in Alien Covenant. I would have enjoyed, however to have explored more the Engineers' world and myths, but for that you don't need any living Engineer. Ask David.
Enjoy your popcorn!
"Few expected to see xenomorphs in Prometheus. Those who followed the process of making the film knew that there would be no xeno"
I see the Good Point... but we have to remember only a SMALL % of the Box Office takings would be from Fans who would Invest more time into Following the Movies Production and visit SITES like this.
"the film was advertised as "find the answers". It was even a slogan for a stand for Blu-ray discs six months after the release. There were no answers in the film. WTF?"
Have to Totally Agree with this..... they have been Misleading us.... i mean look at the Alien Covenant Poster with Engineers vs Xenomorphs...... WTF they playing at?
Trying to ROPE us into something thats NOT there, which is well NOT NICE of them ;)
"And in the end, the xenomorph is again to blame."
Some may, but i dont think the Xenomorph is to blame for the Pickle we are in NOW.... I also agree the Characters have NOT been too Good...
The Emphasis on David is maybe too much...
"I would never have thought that Aliens-hater himself would explain why people love Aliens so much, but not the adventures of philosopher colonists"
I think thats a Valid Point Leto..
I think the PROBLEM is that Fans have their own Likes/Dislikes, and YES we know ALIENS is maybe the Most Recognizable of the Franchise.
The Prequels was a Attempt to Give some Answers to the Xenomorph Origins and WHO was the Space Jockey, but its PLOT was NOT to be purely Based on Xenomorphs.
We would have had the Prequel as a BRIDGE so that it goes to Indicate more about the Xenomorph and Purpose but then it left it OPEN to go off to STEER AWAY from LV-426 and Xenomorphs. And to cover the Space Jockey Plot (Engineers).
The Problem with PROMETHEUS was they Toned Down the ALIENY aspect... the Monsters and Clues to the Xenomorph Origins and LV-426... this was DONE too FAR that it Did-Not give enough of a BRIDGE to ALIEN.
So then FOX had felt that you have to Actually go and MAKE a Direct Prequel Series with THOSE Answers...

Thus it has KIND OF made a Sacrifice and Limitation on what a Sequel that STEERED AWAY from the Xenomorph/LV-426 could have been.
While giving a PLOT that has DISAPPOINTED so many (David Creator)
In HINDSIGHT then a Sequel that is Similar to what i Proposed instead of Alien Covenant, and so more of a Alien Engineers Re-Visit to LV-223 could have Provide more Clues/Answers to the Xenomorph, could have given a Action/Horror that was more Action than Alien Covenant and i think Pleased the ALIEN/ALIENS Fans more.
THEN you could have had another Parallel Sequel that goes off with David and Dr Shaw and NOT have to be Shackled to the Answers of LV-223 or LV-426 and Explore the other Themes and Philosophy.
The LV-223 Movie could lead to Special Order 937 but also let the Fans go and WONDER... what other Worlds did the Engineers Attempt to Send those Egg Filled Ships too... or even Black Goo too.
so you then HAVE other Avenues for ALIEN Movies about Xenomorphs or other Horrors that does-not have to Connect to where David and Dr Shaw go Next..
You have then BRANCHED the Franchise into Expanding a ALIEN Franchise while you STILL have the Philosophical/Creators Spin Off that is NOT about ALIEN.
But what is DONE is DONE...
>>>I still felt the BEST way to give those Answers would have been another Return to LV-223, you think the Company are just going to NOT want to Discover what Happened
You should try to look from the point of view of an regular viewer. And then two uncomfortable questions arise:
1) Why should I again go to the film about the dead and desert (synonymous with “boring)" stone in space? Contrary to all expectations, xenomorphs will not lure the public.
2) Uh, oh, doesn't that look like working on bugs, an attempt to make the "right" Prometheus? It does not look like an attempt to give answers. Because in the minds of the viewer, the LV-223 is an unanswered trap.
Here's why:
>>>I would assume some of the STUFF they held back they do so, so that the First Movie has Questions
Questions.
Few expected to see xenomorphs in Prometheus. Those who followed the process of making the film knew that there would be no xeno. Check.
Reluctantly, some people have accepted the humanoid Space Jockeys / Engineers. They also appeared in early interviews and teasers. Check.
The behavior of the characters has become the main source of parodies. No one expected this. But at least it was pretty fun, right? Check.
And now the main thing - questions. If you lived on Earth in 2012 in our dimension, then you know that even after removing the xenomorphs, the film was advertised as "find the answers". It was even a slogan for a stand for Blu-ray discs six months after the release. There were no answers in the film. WTF?
People came to the film for answers, but received questions. And people were not mistaken - because everyone including FOX, director and writers talked about the answers. It's funny enough that Covenant once again did what Prometheus had to do.
---
Returning to the characters. Funny enough, Ridley again gave the characters strange behavior. I think we should ask - how elaborate will the characters in the third sequel be? And in the fourth?
Will all the forces of the maestro again be directed to the android? And the rest of the characters will take off spacesuits in space and try to stroke the monster?
And in the end, the xenomorph is again to blame.
Yes, they eat and so what? Theater is fun.
But more importantly, it explains why people prefer complex characters instead of deep meaning.
"Yes. This. It was a mistake. Use the planned trilogy approach for essentially separate films"
I think the majority of the Franchise was SET to NOT require a Sequel.... With ALIEN then i think that was OPEN to a Sequel, with ALIENS and ALIEN 3 i think they Ended in a way to Not Require any.... ALIEN R likewise.
Prometheus kind of DID leave it as to Wondering where David and Dr Shaw go Next (same with prior Drafts). I think RS saw the Potential to open up a Expanded Spin Off but he knew it was Dependent on the Success of the First Prequel. I would assume some of the STUFF they held back they do so, so that the First Movie has Questions, which Fans will Speculate on, which could Generate a Interest to then Continue with some Answers....
The ambiguity of Prometheus and what potentially it could SET-UP has led to many Debates and Questions, much like ALIEN had too (Space Jockey, Eggs) so i would say that YES to a degree some STUFF is left out as a Carrot to want Fans to see a Sequel to get Answers.
If NO sequel is made then it leaves it a Mystery which some Fans are ok with and other prefer to have Answers. I wonder how many Fans in HINDSIGHT.. would wish that a Sequel (AC) had not attempted to give any Answers to the Eggs Origins? And would RATHER have NO Answers than what we seem to be getting?
With Alien Covenant we are informed that THIS is now a Series of Prequels that WILL lead us to the Back Door of ALIEN, so the SET UP is that we are MORE than a Single Movie from getting to ALIEN... at the Time RS had indicated it would take maybe 2 more Movies before we get to ALIEN. So in affect he was Planning for a Trilogy from Alien Covenant. But its a Trilogy where you have to Question IF they have the Next Two Movies Planned out?
The Pitfall we have is that with AC not doing well and not getting Rave Reviews... then it becomes a Prequel in LIMBO..
"Alien Covenant was a MISTAKE!"
When i mention this, i understand the Developmental Problems as they could NOT really come up with a Story they was Pleased with Until 2015
I think it was a Mistake in that i feel you NEVER had to Force a Continuation of Davids Arc to LINK to the Origins of the Xenomorph.
I still felt the BEST way to give those Answers would have been another Return to LV-223, you think the Company are just going to NOT want to Discover what Happened.. and when we Eventually got Special Order 937 its a case of where did this come from and WHY would they bypass LV-223.
So a Return to LV-223 would give some Closure to ALIEN as you can Uncover more about LV-426 from this (Prometheus they barely Scratched the Surface of those 5 Complexes). So you can give a more Action and Alieny Flick with Monsters similar to the Xenomorph, where you can give more Clues/Answers to WHAT the Engineers where doing on LV-223 and WHAT had gone down to Cause the Outbreak.... and indicate that a Remnants of the Experiments is on LV-426.
Door to ALIEN is then CLOSED..
A Prometheus Sequel with David and Dr Shaw would then NOT be Restrained to Answer what Happened on LV-223 or the Xenomorph, and have more Freedom to Explore other things.... which still could Eventually be the Unleashing of a Horror.
Prometheus had OPENED up a Pandora's Box of Horrors and Potential... with Alien Covenant it kind of PUT the Franchise BACK into the BOX.
A Franchise that is inside a BOX its a case of how many Eggs can you FIT into that Box ;) (we have had 4 so FAR)

That explains why people eat popcorn in the theaters.
The tubes are a bimechanical air jetpack. Xeno draws air in them. Then it pumps internal pressure and warms up. After all shoots out of them with compressed air at high speed. This allows xeno to make giant leaps and move quickly.
If xeno picks up air in advance, and then finds itself in a vacuum in space, it will be able to maneuver, releasing air in portions.
Isolation has a novel.
>>>This game deserves to be tv series.
Yes, but there is an uncomfortable moment here - spoilers. I don’t think the video game is lower than a book or movie. This is the same type of art.
And an attempt to recreate it on the screen leads to the thought - "Ah, I already saw it. Moreover, I myself participated. Why should I watch it?"
A great idea would be to create a continuation of Isolation on the screen. But we already have a mobile game and some comic sequels.
The best thing would be to make a retcon or make such big changes so that the movie diverges from the game in the most significant events and outcomes.
You write total BS.
>>>most people want to see characters and landscapes they can relate with
>>>some heavily armed marines shooting around
LMAO. I would never have thought that Aliens-hater himself would explain why people love Aliens so much, but not the adventures of philosopher colonists.
my first thought was when I saw these tubes, they were chimneys for discharging by-products of metabolism, metabolism of the nuclear reactor. the creation seemed to have some sort of energy production system. the stranger from Prometheus had fewer cables on his body. in the original alien he already had a biomechanical body as if David had further modified it or somehow connected himself to this creature and then he could have been able to survive in space and the poisonous environment and became a perfect being able to survive in all conditions. Ash said "His perfection in construction matches his innate savage" or something like that
@daliens
That is probably the best scene in the entire film.
The tubes could be many things. They may be used to filter things out to make many different conditions breathable. They may be for communications, sending out signals to sense things further out in the environment. They could be also being used to make food for the alien. This is a Bio-Mechanical machine and it most likely can convert light into energy like a plant but faster and more efficent.
The tubes could also store liquids to drink or chill the air to provide condensation to get water and then break the bonds of water into hydrogen to make energy from the hydrogen.
The tubes could be used to excrete poisons convert it. It may be how the Alien goes to the bathroom....but when it does it processes so many different things that has to eliminate them through different tubes rapidly...chemistry produces reactions that happen fast but they might be able to use that energy in the reaction to convert materials in the environment into the hives we see them secrete.
The tubes could make many different chemicals from other things collected in the environment.
The tubes could also be some type of storage for power.
The tubes could also be for some other type of field that gets controlled through them...I see these Xenos scale walls and crawl on the ceiling upside down....the tubes may affect gravity some how making the Xeno very light weight but then when it attacks it has a lot of weight.....
You come up with some ideas now too!
If the tubes were for breathing, all the xenos should have them, but it's not the case.
I think I read somewhere they are used to secret some resin to build the nest.
Don't know what Giger thought of it.
BigDave might know better.
The destruction of a colony/hive was also discussed here but in a different way:
https://www.scified.com/topic/49670
To the OP, there is a lot going on and it sounds really good. It might also be interesting to add a real world aspect like cordyceps. Just a thought.
That would be a way to destroy an alien colony, by infecting them with some virus and let them kill each other.
However, I don't think I want to see it in a film, maybe like a flashback scene only.
Anything going the AVP direction no good.
