Maybe just another graphics guy. Judging by his posts on blu-ray.com, I dont thing Carl Braga (humanmedia) would be the type of person who wastes time trolling online.

Ati I don't think he did anything wrong. And also I have no idea why Screenrant and other outlets took a "Bonus tidbit" from an avpgalaxy news report and the made big news out of that. In my opinion, Carl Braga's post can only mean that the sequel won't be shot in Australia, and that they will use new props. Anything that signals change is positive; I don't want more of the same and we don't need another rushed movie.

Is Carl Braga (screen graphics designer) the person behind the user name Graphic Guy in the thread about the Mr H Livestream started by BladeRunner_1982?

Such a complicated story!

What I take from all of this, is that larger news outlets saw what they thought was a smoking gun and turned a tree into a forest. I think AVPGalaxy has approached this properly. It presented information to fans and forum members to dissect, and as has been done on this site, members are allowed to dissect and comment and through member feedback check the validity of any information claims. After all that is the service sites like this and AVPGalaxy perform. Information is presented, dissected, and an informed conclusion reached.

What I believe has also happened regarding a AC sequel, is that certain aspects of production have been put on hold. This does not mean cancelled, it just means that whilst things could be temporarily up in the air due to the transitional take over by Disney, there will probably be certain elements of production that cannot proceed until full authorization is given by Disney, which I would regard as common sense.

Just because one individual has reported that they have stopped working on a project, does not mean everyone else has.

It would not surprise me if there are future reports of work being put on hold for other movies. There is going to be a period of transition, and I reckon it is anyone’s guess how much this will could affect movie production in general.

Poor screen graphics designer Carl Braga...

Previously, before Alien Covenant, he worked on X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009. Nothing until Covenant in 2017...

Probably he won't get a job in the near future - providing that he is a real person.

Was it worth it?

Very interesting indeed & stunning artwork to say the least! I agree with you these do for more with what I thought we'd have seen with respect to David's "experiments" while on the planet. Again, just my take and what I'd hoped that Covenant could have been.

Instead we were given endless scenes of David and Walter discussing Shelley and Byron as well as a whole segments of flute playing with "I'll do the fingering...." being quite possibly the most ridiculous line uttered in recent years serving only to make an even bigger complete joke out of the direction this series for which (and again I stress these are just my thoughts and nothing more), I simply can no longer bare to follow!

This mishmash of torrid crap Sir Ridley seems determined to take this series. I don't understand. PLEASE, SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT'S GOING ON! I'm missing something, I have to be! The very accomplished and esteemed Mr. Scott created this wonderful mythos  - well created on film, to be fair Dan O'Bannon, the original writer and Walter Hill the producer actually wrote and "created" Alien and its subsequent sequels - however, either way I don't understand why he seems to be tearing it all down! Now even saying "...it's not about the 'big chap anymore but about David, and the philosophical implications of creationism...." WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Oh Ridley! Why oh why! I understand you've just turned 80, I understand you're asking those "big questions" of what comes next, BUT this is Science Fiction not the Life & Times of Whatever Higher Power you align yourself with! Seriously, and I apologize to all of you AND the audience with whom I watched Alien: Covenant with for my uncontrollable laughter and giggling when the fully formed Xenomorph pops out of Orhram's(?spelling sorry!) and does the whole "Christ on the Cross" pose! I'm sorry but even if I hadn't already been laughing about the fact that Orhram had just trusted David after telling him he was "...going to blow a hole in your perfect composer...." yet then sticks his face directly over an opening egg on David's say so 2 minutes later made absolutely no sense whatsoever!! And was quite laughable to myself at least.

I'm starting to really believe the Honest Trailer version of this movie that this was not actually a colony mission but simply a new government program to rid earth of idiots. Harsh words I know but COME ON!!!

Somewhere along the way either I or these movies took a left turn at Albuquerque and I am begging someone to explain to me what I've missed! I truly mean this! In the mean time, for some humor if you'd like to check out the "Honest Trailer" I was referring to, I've included the link below. I adore this board/blog and all of you here! I hope I didn't offend anyone with my comments as that was not my intention AT ALL! I have a huge amount of respect for the creators of this forum and everyone involved! You always go above and beyond to show us all sides! Thank you so very much! Lady Anne ^^ö^^

Great news! Thanks for the share Ati!

Surely they cant go back to the future with Bloomkamps Ripley/Hicks story... and leave an entire story arc unresolved. That would remove any integrity the franchise continuity has left.

BatchpoolAlien: Covenant Forumwhy quinten tarintino should direct an alien film.

First of all, I have hoped for a long time that Tarantino would put his mark on the cci-fi world for the above reasons you have mentioned. Tarantino has a gift of creating intense drama through the use of great dialogue.  I thought the Hateful Eight was a good example of this. He also knows how to pick the right actors for the job. I think Christopher Waltz, and Samuel L Jackson must be on his permanent payroll.

Given the prominence of both these actors, along with the many big stars that will work with Tarantino, I think having Tarantino direct an Alien movie would attract a very high calibre cast.

One of the main reasons I like Tarantino’s work is that he can bring things to a crescendo that can be blood filled and still throw in a few unexpected twists and turns. Tarantino is also one who likes to bring what can be minor details into greater focus and put a different slant on them, just like when everyone is arguing over what name colour they are given in Reservoir Dogs, or bringing up what a Big Mac is called in France from Pulp Fiction.

One thing that I think anyone should be mindful of with Tarantino, is not to expect the usual when it comes to following a plot. I would certainly welcome the idea of Tarantino doing an Alien movie, and the only thing I would expect to see would be blood and violence somewhere in the mix, maybe Ninja Xeno’s with Bad Muther Fxxker, acid etched on their heads.

Barf The MogAlien: Romulus 2 NewsRidley Scott: They're crazy if they don't make the Alien: Covenant sequel!

Totally! I think we all can agree that Ridley Scott is a total of baffoon during interviews. I've mentioned this before, Bong-Joon Ho, Director of Okja and Snowpiecer, should direct the next Alien film. I don't want to start another "who should direct the next Alien film" discussion, but after Scott's buffoonery, it's time he steps away from any future Alien projects.

We still do not know how Scott truly handled the Blomkamp Alien 5 pitch with FOX, but I'm guessing Scott was a total jerk about it and 20th FOX being too stupid to know otherwise.

Your words are gold. Undeniably, it is very difficult to disagree with the video.

Why would Scott speak about his plans regarding the Covenant sequel in October and December if the whole project had been cancelled in September? Nonsense! At least for me...

MembraneAlien: Romulus 2 NewsRidley Scott: They're crazy if they don't make the Alien: Covenant sequel!

It was more of a joke about Scott's use of foul language.  It doesn't really connect to his directing abilities.  Although I do think if someone ALWAYS uses it during the course of a normal conversation, their vocabulary or imagination may be fairly thin, so... maybe there is some connection to his lack of making sense and spewing things left and right about upcoming films and where the story is going (diarrhea of the mouth?) and his directing abilities as of late (thank goodness Denis Villenueve directed 'Blade Runner 2049' and not Scott!).

Anyway, I think BigDave and I are agreeing... Disney may not be the "saving grace" for the 'Alien' franchise.  They may take it and make money with it, but will they make it a good franchise from here on out?  If Marvel and Star Wars are any indication, I'm not so sure.  Time will tell.

Barf The MogAlien: Romulus 2 NewsRidley Scott: They're crazy if they don't make the Alien: Covenant sequel!

@Membrane

Foul language is nothing to gripe about, what's the most frustrating thing about Ridley is that he makes no sense with his false claims about upcoming Alien films and where the story is going.

Disney now needs to save Alien from Scott's massive mess.

I hope studio people lurk on this thread, maybe even some Disney peeps.

And this comment by Ridley Scott made me laugh because I feel like there is more that I should add to it (my addition in italics and I had to add the cursing as Ridley seems so fond of using foul language for no absolutely reason)...

"I would like to; they’re crazy if they don’t. David is a fantastic villain. I love what Michael Fassbender did in Covenant. But it’s f***ing hard, dude. We lifted Alien out of a ditch and made Prometheus... and subsequently sent it back into a deeper ditch with the s**tstorm that is 'Alien: Covenant'.  Oh yes, we did, and you're f***ing welcome!"

Well, Ridley, you lifted it out of a ditch and made Prometheus and subsequently sent it careening back into a deeper ditch with 'A:C'.

MembraneAlien: Romulus 2 NewsRidley Scott: They're crazy if they don't make the Alien: Covenant sequel!

BigDave, you're right.

'Blade Runner 2049'... great film... not enough fanbase or regular movie goers interested to generate a big enough return.

'Alien' franchise has suffered due to the last 3 installments (although I personally liked 'Prometheus'; biggest grumblings are adding in some cut scenes to justify/explain character actions).  Now, what does Disney do with it?  They are all about the money.  Granted, all studios are, Disney just seems to make good monetary decisions, not necessarily good artistic or story/movie decisions, ie, Marvel movies and the 'The Force Awakens' (only "good" due to nostalgia) and 'The Last Jedi' (terrible).  Goodness knows what will become of the 'Alien' franchise now, but who knows, they may pleasantly surprise.

XenowarriorAlien: Romulus 2 NewsRumor: Alien: Covenant sequel cancelled?

Ridley Scott need to finish the storyline of the prequel films first. After that Disney can make new Alien films and put it into another direction like they do with Star Wars. Keep the original franchise as canon, but the future films must have a completely new storyline with new ideas, but that is still connected with the original franchise, but never going back to the planets from all the previous films or mention those events.

With this Disney can make a whole fresh new start with Alien and leave the original franchise behind, but still connected to it.

I'm convinced that the concept artists for Covenant could have undoubtedly written and directed the movie, and it would have been a masterpiece.

Among all of the discourse about the Alien franchise between this site, AVPGalaxy, Mr. H, and Hybrid Network, the Alien public relations team needs to do some serious damage control before the franchise is dead in the foreseeable future. Disney owns it now; they need to step up to the plate and control this mess, and they need to tell Ridley Scott to STFU.

I think this concept art could very likey be used in a film that takes place inbetween prometheous and covenant. there is a whole planet and only having that one small city on an entire planet is ridiculus. over the couse of 10 years I am sure that david would travel to other places on the planet. alos if the engineers in covenant are indead a different spiecies or race like many of us have thorised, then they would have different reactions to the black go as the real engineers witch are most likely somewere else on this planet. these engineers could be the ones in the concept art shown. this would also add some runtime to a script idea to short to make a movie out of. david going to the planet killng engineers and killing shaw.

Read the Alien: Engineers draft by Spaihts recently for the 100th time, just noticed that the last engineer equipped himself with the bulletproof bio suit and killed the remaining xenos and humans with some kind of a weapon that fires invisible missiles.

I wonder if that inspired the engineer weapons in the fire and stone series (especially the scene with the large pink rifle in Prometheus fire and stone).

Originally the engineer weapon Galgo held was supposed to shoot black goo but they changed it to Fox's demands.

As for their ships, their ships are indestructible. The juggernaut remained mostly intact when USCSS Prometheus crashed into it at the speed of a bullet.

Is it "Mr. H Reviews" or "Alien TMZ"?

Seriously though this guy has major insecurities if us disagreeing with him on our own platform (not even on his videos or other social pages) sends him into a fit, creating live streams and whatnot about the ordeal. A live stream to complain you were called out on a forum? Is he new to the internet? Lmao

Obviously we can not confirm the claims of him threatening to "kick our asses" (which in itself is beyond hysterical) because like his previous comments on our own forum, he has removed his video so no one can validate his claims. But I trust, given his outbursts on here alone, that he more than likely did throw some imaginary weight around.

My recommendation to our fans - please do not spam or attack Mr. H on here or on his YouTube, as the guy clearly has a superiority complex and a rather fragile ego. The loudest guy in the room is always the weakest, so best to let him rant and rave on his own platforms and let the fans decide what to think of him. Eventually / hopefully he will grow up.

"These unmonitored posts about threatening people are untrue. Bladerunner 1982 has even back tracked from his initial statement saying it sounded threatening rather than being a threat. I don’t ask for any disagreeing to be retracted about the topic at hand, just the irresponsible and unjustified claim of Mr H threatening people."

Each member of our forums is responsible for the content they post, and the claim in question was made by Bladerunner_1982.

That said, In Mr. H's Q&A live stream #57 he again mentions this drama, stating that he intends to inquire what legal options he may have toward Bladerunner_1982's statement, who posted this thread to bring to our communities attention Mr. H's continued abuse towards us. Yet without a recording of the live stream in question nothing can be proved or disproved.

So, in summary, Mr. H slandered this site repeatedly, once on YouTube, then here, to which we rightfully defended. He then continued his abuse on Twitter, and then again on YouTube, to which we have responded here and here only. Mr. H has deleted his comments here, on twitter and his initial live stream, yet we have deleted nothing.

The sadness is that at the end of all this instead of admitting his error in his slander, which still stands both here and on Mr. H's YouTube channel, Mr. H intends to sue Bladerunner_1982 regards comments Mr. H may or may not have made on a live stream he has reportedly deleted.

Or as red0guy eloquently put "This he said she said stuff leads nowhere."

@ Graphic Guy,

So Mr. H and his followers can vent on here, Twitter and YouTube about our response to his two attacks, but we here at Alien-Covenant.com and our members cannot on our own platform that we have custom created.

As I have repeatedly repeated this all came about because of Mr. H's false claims in his initial video that we were perpetuating the rumor, when we did just as he did in his video; identify the rumor and urge caution in our readers. Mr. H also claimed we did not cite the source of this rumor, we did, it was Blu-Ray.com user HumanMedia, not AvPGalaxy as he claims. In THIS VIDEO John Campea formally of Collider also sourced Blu-Ray.com directly and echoed ours and Mr. H's sentiment of taking this rumor with a huge dosage of salt, yet is Mr. H attacking Campea, no he is not.

And on a side note, I watched Mr. H's live stream and was saddened and disgusted by his continued abuse towards us, but refused to be sucked into this parade. Watch his original video and read our article covering the rumor, and you will see the fault is clearly his.
