It's absolute rubbish fan-fic based on the released media so far. The 'stone enter' (entrance) is not where they enter the Ampule Room for a start, that's where they exit, find the sinkhole and the entrance to what they originally came for.

The producers will not allow Scott to rewrite either the accepted scientific evolution of man or the creation stories held dear by each particular religion. What he will be allowed to do is have aliens abducting humans or show some type of interaction. I still see the Giants as portrayed in myths and legends turning out to be tall blue guys from a different planet.

i think the idea of the life on earth being created by this biomutating agent in those jars is scarier than chestburster, it it goes back to the beginning of mankind and im sure that is not gonna go without an awesome horror-interpretation of present human life. xenomorphs cant cut it anymore, we grew past scary monsters

So I was thinking this poor Jockey was an ampule technician and was surprised by the human intruders while handling an open canister. He makes an aggressive move and one of the crew freaks out and uses some kind of archeological laser cutting tool and cutoff his arm and head in self defense.

Also folks, is it me, or is the right arm also missing from the 'suit-on-the-floor' too?

I was just saying that it seems weird that the debris is only found around the ampule that looks open. If the debris isn't found on any others ( I don't see it on the ones in the background) I think logic would dictate that there may be a localized event that connects these anomalies (e.g, the top popped).

The picture posted by danrald, it appears the far right of the ampoules is open and the left 2 have either debris or I think it looks like its raised carvings of some sort.

Seems the debris centers around that strange open one though. Are there any other shots of ampules that have debris on them?

Maybe they're holding genetic material used to make numerous different types of life forms, a kind of organism creating "Noah's Ark" if you will. What is on top of the ampoules in the left hand of the pic, is it just dust and debris or is it raised stone like a carving? Maybe depicting the life form inside or something?

Danrald you are absolutely right, that one has a hole in the top. Great find! It is very strange because that changes how I thought they opened. In the trailer scene where David removes the innards it looked like it had a lid but maybe he cut it open with a laser. Perhaps they are naturally seamless. Is it possible the top exploded out of the one here and rained debris down on to the tops of the others? Maybe it popped because David or someone was messing with it. Maybe it releases acid!

Thanks Cypher! I see more trolling on forums, then anywhere else. Stopping it before it gets out of hand is the most important thing. Places like AvPgalaxy.net have well over 15,000 users and so moderation is almost non existent if any and the moderators who do business over their are not very friendly. Had the first hand experience of knowing. I'd just like to keep Prometheus-Movie.com troll free. That way none of us have to deal with it. Sometimes its hard to ignore such A holes online. But when the time comes, its good to know before hand and get rid of it as soon as possible. I just made this thread for others to express their issues with it and how they overcome the problems. Also its a thread where users can address any serious problems with trolls.

I think that what you guys are pointing at makes sense. This might be a little "off thread" but I have to ask your opinions on this. Is the dark and seemingly underground area where we see the big head and the ampoules the same place where we saw all the eggs in the Alien film. The cavern where Kane finds the eggs is obviously an old hive, but if Prometheus is pre-alien, would it stand to reason that it's the same place? Right or wrong, extrapolating purely from the trailer, I am thinking that the cavern is more so a lab or storage facility for synthesized face huggers. The big head being the sign post for the fact that they are derived from or intended for humans. The trailer suggests to me that the jockeys ship is docked at this facility. Obviously something goes wrong for the jockey...

I think Shaw will give birth to a grotesque creature it will be born the same way as a human child.The creature will either be born already being much larger than a normal child( how painful?) or it will more likely grow very rapidly and it will be an in your face horrific vag tearing blood bath However I DO NOT think this will top the '79 chestburst. Nice but not worth the cash being asked if it's in bad condition. Talking about props, does anyone know where I might be able to get hold of some decent Alien/Predator memorabilia?
