2013 is a ridiculously far away...i thnk gta5 is slated to come out before then..but anyways im wary of this title because gearbox did an awful job on duke nukem and they delayed the shit out of that...but yeah the game looks pretty great despite the voice acting and that gimmicky bull alien...they should stick really close to aliens and not make up dumb shit...they should have the same music and everything

I'm looking forward to this game a lot. I just hope they really EXPAND on the game play and really go into areas that we really haven't explored before. I hope the storyline isn't too damn short like almost every game nowadays is. Everything is rushed out the door just to make a quick profit. Game makers will focus too much on the look of everything without expanding on the gameplay. The length of the game is sacrificed for graphics and simple "looks". Thats whats ruined a lot of games today. Money, money and money man, its whats destroying potentially great films and video games today.

Game Stop gave me a list of gavel coming out and they have Aliens on there for Jan 2013 but once again, it may not be certain. I read as well it was supposed to come out in the Spring but we shall see....

That looks GOD DAMN BEAUTIFUL!! I cannot wait anymore until this game comes out. We will have to be sure to give each other's gamertag's out so we can play with each other online when it is released.

That may actually be more "official" than we think - the originator of the article which featured that image and specs was removed at request of Sega, but it was too late and the image went viral. Just my 2 cents. Either way it looks great! And about the 2013 release, doubtful. I still bet it's 2012.

Yeah I agree with you BugHunter. Plus it would make sense that Sega release it the year of Prometheus' release. It would make for a great double bill that way.

It's curious that the Alien only skull-fucks the lowly techs in the crew. Dallas & Kane, the executive officers, a higher class humans, become the host (as per ALIEN deleted cocoon scene), and Brett (and likely Parker too), the working class, become the eggs. I don't want to imagine what the Xeno did to Lambert, but here it is: direct impregnation. Space Sadist.

Lambert's death was pretty spectacular. He voice/screams over the intercom make for one of my favourite scenes in the film.

@ Mentos Yes Veronica was stunning in that film she looked absolutly shit scared from the moment the thing was born i think Mr Scott had somthing to do with that when he squirted all that blood and stuff at her just look at her reaction

@ Shardy in the aliens book by Alan Dean Foster the alien has a sting in its tail to parrelize its victim in order for it to cocoon them for a facehugger I think although im not sure that Ridley had this idea aswell therfore it may have stung Lambert and come back for her latter Parker would have become the egg like brett. I dont think it saw Parker or Brett as grunts that was just coincedence

interesting theories here it just occurred to me when i watched ALIEN a few weeks ago, that the kill method for 2 of the 4 Nostromo crew seemed pretty specific in regards to the direct assaults to their skulls in regards to Lambert, there was definite a suggestion of something more lewd about her demise, the tail slowly rising up behind her, and her rapid screams we heard on the intercom guess we'll never really know all @GreatBootsUp: folks talk about ALIEN and it's shitty "sequels" ALL OVER these forums. do you not pay attention. as Ripley said in ALIEN - - - "Why don't you just FUCK OFF"

but we do know in the commentary both her and Scott say "From the background effects we can difinitvely deduce that there's a lot more going on there then people thought originaly" and he is referring to an act of sexual assualt and Cartwright says... "Look at him, he is CLEARLY checking me out" {in that way she means}.
