Good article. There are actually a LOT of similarities. Charlize running down a corridor clicked for me instantly. It's also interesting that the flamethrowers remind me of Aliens. The scene with Hollow on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands reminds me of Alien 3.

I think Peometheus looks like the Betty from AR. Hmmm interesting...in Resurrection Ripley made a joke about the ship being older than her. OMG...could it be?!

I liked it. At that point the series was getting a little old. It threw some new twits in. I had a promo T-shirt that was long sleeved with the Betty logo on it and a numer 8 printed on the arm. It died though. I miss that shirt.

Close but not the same I'm afraid. It was a really cool ship. There is always the possibility that Tidley told them to make it look like the Betty. I believe he is just that good.

Close is pretty good no? Looks like you were pretty observant their, there seem to be a lot of similarities. It Even Looks like they may have used the same parts to create it behind the scenes.

(sadly). i think a same sex protagonist is something that the North American audiences really wouldn't like to see, ESPECIALLY if said same sex protagonist would happen to be a male character. i do wonder, if the plot that involves Holloway being "tested on" by the Engineers will involve some form of male-to-male procedures that would make North American males "uncomfortable" and "squirm".....

Lol thank you Spartacus and Frantz I think this movie will leave them with options to go in many different directions to make a Sequel existing in that 30yr period.

was an old idea connected with the first scripts (making 2 movies) ...i dont know if they completely dropped it ( too expensive ) ..maybe will depend by the incomes ( noomi opened at that possibility in an interview ) !!

i was told, that Scott planned for a trilogy with PROMETHEUS, the deal is, if this new film makes the money the studio heads need, then the 2 films that are supposed to follow PROMETHEUS are green-lit if not, then we can pretty much count out another ALIEN related film, so i am hoping against hope that this new film makes what it needs to get the other 2 film pushed / approved for production time will tell.....
