(Elgyn is killed by an Alien. Ripley 8 grabs some shotgun shells from the corpse and loads the into her own weapon. She is very calm).
Christie- ( Unsure of what Ripley is up to) Okay...Real slow now. What. The. Fuck.
Nicely done FantacularTV_1! Thanks for sharing.
Edited for I Moon Girl...you are right, imagry was pretty good...so it was a "visually moving slasher". But I also agree that Prometheus bested it. I feel bad for the audience of AC that didn't have the back drop of the other films. It had to be confusing and probably didn't recruit a new fan base (important for ratings/sequels?). And for those with the historical back drop...i feel bad for them (me) as well, it had to be confusing. :-)
Alien: Covenant wasn't scary and it definitely wasn't a horror film. It was a suspense. To be exact, it is a sci-fi suspense movie (with drama and gore and a dash of epic imagery which doesn't compare to the epic imagery in Prometheus, but that's okay).
Suspense is the key work here.
Ka-ching!
-self edited/erased by someone who needs a hobby. The Neo was a gem wasted in this film.
Thanks Iraptus and Ingeniero. Yes that was the actual David's Lab or at least most 80 percent of it. I'd like to make a longer short film. Im just not sure if Fox will allow it. But I'm going to try and take the necessary steps for it.
I also have to comedic films awaiting approval that I'll release on my channel. Same location at Davids Lab
That's incredible. Great job, I love the floating lamp in between them.
Lawrence of Arabia... that makes more sense now. Thanks for that explanation. As for Fiffield and Millburn you sure are right. Fiffield especially was unqualified.
We are certainly on the same page Thoughts_Dreams regarding the Engineers and no Ripley amazing tie-in (lame). The Engineers are what I most look forward to (hopefully) in the next film.
Excellent film FantacularTV_1!. Thank you.

I can tell you that Dr. Shaw took Captain Janek's advice above IRaptus to her peril with David below.

I love it Ati...thank you. I have to make the music videos now.
Nice job FantacularTV_1!
So this was filmed in the actual set of David's Lab was it??
Haha I love the classic Aliens motion tracker phone App!!!
I know dk. That part looks a little like 1998 CGI. I thought the neomorph looked better when David tried to blow on the non-nose while giving his speech to Captain Oram.
IRaptus - I've found it on youtube:

Please embed it in his article. Thx!
thanks Ati, I'll fix that up :-)
Yeah same here cuponator3000, and I can't embed them, they are restricted, unpublished, suspended or password locked perhaps??
I can't see yours either Ati. Can you see the OP's videos?
Maybe Region coded?
I cannot access the page! Google says it may have been suspended. Copyright issues, I assume.
*EDIT* All links take me to my own YouTube channel. My primary Google Account has been expelled from YouTube (haha copyright issues, ironically. I just wanted to post music!), but I logged into a different account and was taken to my channel's homepage
A fan film mystery...
Ah, I've found it:

I love the flute scene! :DDDDDDD
@Ati That would indeed be awesome, fans would be satisfied. But I can only imagine the budget required.
@Lawrence of Arabia yep, the Engineer that fought predator was trained by Steven Seagal.
Lawrence of Arabia - True! I read those lines linked by you some days ago, very interesting post by muthur9000!
David's actions here and in the film remind me of Ash and his behavior in the original.

The Space Jockey's are badass af lol
Great summary! It's time to see their full power again in a live action movie.
@Thoughts_Dreams
Reading between the lines it appears the emphasis will be on AI i do however also it will reflect on the Philosophical Elements of this and also how Creation attempting to Sub-Create always holds its Folly.
So i would not be surprised if there will be some themes regarding the Creator and AI connection, also being explored somewhere else within the Whole Hierarchy... Like Imagine the Curve-ball if the actual GOD in the Franchise is actually some Ancient AI/Machine
But indeed they do need some Human Characters, and i think giving us some New Characters that are interesting may not be enough, if these are Characters who will not play a large role in future movies.
I feel RS/FOX will pull the Ripley Connection Card..
With a incoming 1-2 Human Ships/Missions there is potential for some Good Characters there if done right....
Who knows if there are Humans on Origae-6 already, but looking at AC and some of the extra footage, it appears the Crew of the Covenant Ship would be the First to Arrive.... But we cant rule out the company sending a prior smaller ship that arrives first.
I think it would be a bit too much of a Coincidence that Origae-6 already had Humanoids on it, unless they show us a World that has remnants of a Fallen, Long Dead Humanoid Civilization. Maybe that could work?
As for established Characters, the way the ended Alien Covenant, and what appears to be the plans now... would not hold well for Daniels and Tennessee. Especially if they are going to more Shoe-Horn the next movie to tie into ALIEN.
A lot has to do with the Events leading up to Alien we have 17 years to go, We have David and Two Face Huggers and nearly 2000 Colonist and 1000 Embryos and if he is off to Origae-6 in the Covenant Ship then he would not arrive at Origae-6 until almost 10 years prior to Alien.
Then there is at least a MOVIE there... as far as what happens on the location David arrives at, and between the incoming parties.. Before somehow Davids Creations end up on a Engineer Ship and in the LV-223/426 Zeta 2 System.
Its for this reason i think a lot of the events from David putting those Face Huggers into the Embryo Storage, until he arrives at his destination would be covered pretty much like events of when Dr Shaw was leaving on that ATV with Davids Body... to when the Covenant Crew arrive...
Meaning i cant see much apart from the odd flash/back scene taking place on the Covenant Ship... and THUS... as AC was pretty much a 10 years latter Flick to Prometheus... i feel Alien Awakening could be a 8-10 years latter than Alien Covenant Flick.
BigDave - Thank you.
Thanks for the Share..
I love the Image i bet a number of Bible Verses could Fit well with this as a phrase. Maybe James 3:6
"And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell"
Thats very good, especially when its light up in the dark... Awesome work
ali81 Just like you, I like everybody in Alien. I would say if i really had to narrow down my dislikes it would be Daniels/Oram.
The report is not confirming that The Cartel will be filmed before the AC sequel.
IMDB isn't even confirming that report by Deadline.
AS of now, the Covenant sequel is in pre-production slated for a 2019 release.
Deadline is not as accurate with their reports compared to Variety.
Alien Covenant sequel is being filmed before The Cartel, I hope so.
As excited as I am for the next film, which I'm glad Ridley is still heading, I hope BigDave is right and we get an additional film after Awakening because we still have 17 years. Unless we get a time skip in Awakening and the Derelict crashes on LV-426 waiting several years before the Nostromo crew comes around full-circle.
Rick D The reason Oram followed David to his lair was because he demanded answers now that he had his faith restored and took it upon himself as the leader/shepard to protect his flock. He felt his creators would protect him from evil, which is what the basis for most of his decisions stems from. Remember, before David tried to tame the Neomorph, he saved the Covenant crew from the wheatfield attack and brought them to safety in the Hall of Heads showing no signs of ill-will. Just as he treated Walter earlier in the film as nothing but a tool, Oram did the same to David believing he would do no harm their masters. He has never seen an ovomorph either so it's not unheard of to be fascinated by a new organism that seems harmless. Shaw and Oram serve as those with unflinching faith that the universe is a welcoming place but the reality is that it is dark and indifferent.
Milburn and Fifield were just sorely under-qualified for the job they were hired for and it shows lol There negligence is representative of one of the many reasons the Engineers and David hates us as a species.
