Prometheus 2 will answer why the Engineers created the Black Goo

This is a tricky one a question that is so vague because there is so many possible answers.... depends on how the Goo is viewed..... is the stuff at the start of the Movie the Same as in the Urns?  What connection does it have with the Xeno and DNA as the stuff on LV 223 has some connection... the locations are close, the clues Ridley said off screen about the Space Jockey sugest a close link..... yet its so different... why does life from the Sacrifical Scene match Engineers Humanoid DNA and not the Xeno DNA that seems to be within the Urns...

Maybe we get answers?  when i read the interview i seem to be drawn to this Biological connection as in regards to what ever the hell these Engineers was doing on LV 223 and for what purpose, to protect from whom and for what purpose...

As opposed to the opening Scenes Goo and Sacrifice and how was this Evil Biology when it appeared creation and who was this protecting against when again it appeared as creation!

But we dont know yet what route this would all take but its nice to get some answers...

I had made 3 main theories that all connected but was all different a bit... it will be interesting to find out which of these if ant hit the nail on the head or was close.. or completely missed the target ;)
