With Ridley Scott's biblical epic, Exodus hitting theaters this weekend, many interviewers have picked the director's brain on two of his most anticipated upcoming film sequels that are currently in production; Prometheus 2 and Blade Runner 2 during press rounds. Previously we learned a few new details about the new antagonists we'll see in the Prometheus sequel, but this new interview, conducted by MTV offers insight to one of the film's pivotal characters - David.
During the interview, Scott confirms the film will focus on Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and the currently-decapitated android David (Michael Fassbender) as they search for the Engineer's homeworld. He also touches on David's manipulative personality and potentially malicious motives by adding:
“Once that head goes back on, [David] is really dangerous, but he’s also very seductive. So maybe he’ll persuade [Shaw] to help him put the head back." Watch the full interview on MTV!
Additionally, during the interview Ridley basically snubs the naysayers who critisized the film for not meeting their expectations, by saying he avoids reading any press after he was "ripped apart" for his work on Blade Runner. Ridley basically says he makes films for himself and nobody else.
