what i fear the most is a bad script ..for all the rest ive faith in the class of ridley scott . oh yes well i fear a bad ending ...i can accept half bad endings ( like the mist ) but total bad endings make me feel a masochist ...

Time travel and the rumoured Ripley flashback Any over-obvious CGI effects

Off the top of my head: 1. Friendly space jockeys. 2. Sappy love story. 3. Shia LaBeouf somehow makes a surprise cameo. EDIT: Oops I didn't expect yall to post so fast.

seriously though, With Giger and Scott Having so much more creative control this time around, I say this with all due respect to all of you cause you people all know more than the average movie goer but... I really do not think most people truly understand just what these two guys have just done for FILM or the extent of just how absolutely Mind Numbingly Incredible what we are all about to see is !!! This movie is FLAT OUT going to be the best damn sci-fi flick perhaps EVER MADE and maybe, at that, one of Hollywood's all time most successful films when all is said and done!!! With these two guys having been flagged for it from the start what we have here is a Film that Cannot Fail...it just can't !!! I think These two men have just done some things that are going to BLOW ALL OF OUR MINDS AND WE ARE ALL GOING TO HAVE A NEW APPRECIATION FOR THIS ART FORM !!!

Ditto, I did too Biomechanic. But this, in a way IMO only, is different, because of the nature of the minds of the 2 men in question here and the people they surround themselves with when they do this kind of thing.
