MemberOvomorph12/24/2011Ok. Here we go. I assume (and hope) there's a lot more than meets the eye. It's like a game off connect the dots... In ALIEN we have eggs, in PROMETHUS ampules... whats the connection? (remember Kane saw thousands of eggs). Again to my eye there must be some mutation (strong possible candidate of an overall theme) turning ampules to eggs, but how could this be done. Maybe through quantum entanglement? What happens to one happens to all? Whatever the case may be, there should be substance from which our minds may feast. Remember, according to Scott it's, "About everything." And lest we forget, "There is an explanation for this, you know. "

MemberOvomorph12/25/2011ooohhh...right
minimum 60 yrs that we know of as you said but it is probabaly a bit longer
Also,
From the scene in the imaginary laser created garden with Burke on the extended version of "Aliens" and from their conversation about her daughter we can calculate exactly how old Ripley is...during those events
So it's clear that when these events of the Prometheus are occurring, Ripley has not been born yet!

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Spart, I saw the same thing when she got blown away. It looks like a storm of bioformer.

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011How far back does Prometheus go? It is in all likely hood set around 2072, before Weyland Yutani came into existence.

MemberOvomorph12/26/2011Ok,
I am so f'ing mad at the editor here and the fact that half the time when you correct a post it erases it instead that I NOT RETYPING EVERYTHING I JUST FINISHED WRITING AND COULDN'T IF I TRIED BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THE AMPULES WERE DESTROYED IN THE CRASH BUT THEIR PRE-PROGRAMMED XENOMORPHS AND AT LEAST 1 QUEEN SURVIVED.
