"Does anybody know if a novelization of Prometheus will be published?"

Rickysix asked this question (forgive me if I'm wrong to create a thread to answer it) - Do the big studios still license novelisations of new product? I'm reading the novel of AR currently but don't recall AvP getting a book. 'Prometheus' looks as if it has enough legs to warrant a literary treatment but I wonder if the studios regard the tie-in novel as obsolete now.
