Evening chaps, just a quick one: Is it just me or does something look out of place to you on this image? [img]http://www.prometheus-movie.com/uploads/prometheus_moviepic.jpg[/img] No...? Take a look at the top right hand corner, and now compare it to this: [img]http://www.killerfilm.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/prometheus-lifter.jpg[/img] Is it just me or [b](in the first pic)[/b] have they accidentally filmed part of the scaffolding that is holding the set piece up?

Its clearly an onset photo not something intended for the inclusion in the film probably shot outside Pinewood, Shepperton, or bray studios.

I see it but, How do you know for a fact that it was filmed at all and that it appears in the movie?

@Mentos I think the real question is: If we did not have acess to that Behind-the-scenes image (2nd image in your post), would we have even noticed the "pipe-like/scaffold" structure at the upper right hand side of the production pic? And even if we did notice it, would we just not think its part of the ships normal construction? My point: I don't think it's a big deal. It looks like its supposed to be there IMO.

actually Mentos you merely presented it us to us and you did so with a "?" so in retrospect it's kinda cool that you noticed it at all.

in the trailer, the shot is cropped so my answer is no, this is not in the final film.

I always thought maybe the roof top got ripped off and that is causing a vacuum sucking her up. I thought that re-barb was revealed as part of the damage.

[b]@alteredstate[/b] Ah yes, I'm referring to the top photo though. [b]@Miser[/b] Actually I've checked my copy of the 1080p version and we clearly see the rigging! [b]@Spart[/b] thank you sir! I just noticed it today; I thought it might be an interesting on to consider! [b]@Biomechanic[/b] it could be! That would explain the loss of stabilization (gravity wise). I thought it might be the out of control sandstorm that hits her.

On closer inspection you do see the rigging but it doesn't look like the same as in the behind the scenes shot. And I agree with Bio. They are not going to let something like that pass especially in the first image they release for this. There is another explanation I am sure.

What I'm not clear on is why does there appear to be a separate structure adjacent to the landing leg?
