LOL SParky, I didn't use it I just stole the still. But I do see what he is getting at by the way. HEY BM when I go to 2:08 and stop the video. All you see is from the waist down of the person jumping the ravine until you hit 2:09. Here I did another edit of the still with a little bit better of an outline of what he's talking about. 2:08 contains information from both scenes, I can see the full figure earlier in it's leap. I went over the possibilities to myself when I first posted the slow video in November. I deliberately left out mention of it in the Video Recap post because I could not figure out exactly what is going on. The closest I have come is that it is some sort of tentacle maybe on the side of the head of one of these serpent like structures. Sparky, I did I stopped it right at 2:07-2:08. Right above the person's waist is a different screen as it transitions to the jump shot. I sectioned it out blew it up til it was blocks and did a half assed outline in Paint. I can see what he is talking about its jsut hard to work over what he did with the bulky red outline. It was a good attempt, tho. But I think you'll see more of what he is talking about with my adjustment that I got in place from BM's video. Now I can't get into photobucket to upload the new screenshot. Rick

To me it looks like a xeno half emersed in a flame. Makes sense with the flame thrower shots in the trailer and the leaked video just prior.

I am still in such deep thought looking at the new image and the entire platform on that side of where the Jockey would be if popped up.

Sparky did you notice how the center hatch (for lack of a better word) looks more like clay than the rest of the platform? Its a completely different pattern.

we deeeeeply need that other trailer version ... they left out the most juicy shoots 1) the tentacle scene ...one of the most horrifyng things everrrr 2) the face emerging from darkness ... a cat ? a monster ? a protoalien ???? PAris Hilton ?? 3) the guy flaming an advancig thing ... a xeno ??? shaw's son ?? a queen ????a predator ?? jokes apart ..that 3 scenes would be greatly appreciated ...

I'm going to have to stick to my guns. Below is the first edit. You can see the xeno head... and no it's not smoke.. it's another tail. You can see the start of the man below the head. lol you guys found some really weird thing, I think there's a black normal xenomorph close to the camera, and in the background there would be a guy jumping with some kind of xeno head.

Guys it's clear now, there's 2 frame mixed out. Also forget about my first theory, my Xeno head is just a part of the structure we see where the humanoid jumps at 2:07, it's just mixed because the trailer used some kind of fade-out effect. So no xeno I think.

Well, if you pay attention to the very last frame, you see the shadow of the Xeno... I didn't see the tail and the head by the worm, but in the last fram, that shadow clearly looks like a Xeno!

Yeah guys I looked at the slow motion teaser trailer. The serpent clip is fading into the next clip of the peron jumping. The Xeno is actually the person jumping (Not a Xeno). End of.

Ya, look at what I posted. There are 2 images in one shoot. there is a man jumping and xeon like head.

If you look at the teaser trailer, this 'Xeno Head' is actually the top of the person jumping across. It is fading in and out into both clips. It really really really is easy to see. There is no Xeno lol. I think some are scrutinising the trailer a tad too much.

@danrald Ok u know what...their is something up with that guys head...I doubt it's a Xeno....but it is likely a mutated human....or some other alien monstrosity....or sadly maybe it is just a person jumping...problem is that it is impossible to tell with the dreadful quality...I kinda want it to be a Xeno tho...;(

@ see you hicks - someone else mistook this image for a xeno's head, claiming the last few frames as proof, because of ridges similar to that of a xeno. Those ridges are the letters running across the image that say "WILD CARD". This image could be many things, but a xeno it is not.

I don't think the focus is on the xeno right by the "WILD CARD", it's in the middle where the man is jumping. It's a distinctive image that we all know. If it is something else, then it is something else.. but there is no denying that the image shown, is the image of a xemo head. That is all there is too it.

@Snorkelbottom, Thanks for the reply, I think if you look at page 3 of 4 on this thread, you will see the images. Tell me if you can't see them and I'll repost. BTW, you are pretty active on this site. Have you read anything about the scene in the dock of the ship with the vehicals? I have an issue with the flamethrower in that scene.. I was wondering if you or anyone else had noticed something or not..

I see the images and I see the image, but what I see is a subjective image that is one of two things... 1. A shadow, nothing more - take into account this "footage" is what, 1-2 frames in length. Which in real time the eye cannot register when played at 30 fps. 2. A planted image. Regarding what I mentioned in 1. The image could be a blurred still from the original Alien planted into the trailer to keep geeks with no time on their hands busy. The flamethrower is probably being used against the mohawked nutter.
