another alien/prometheus possible connection

iv heard so many ideas and theory's im losing my mind. guess no one will know till the movies leaked or when its released, think somehow the humans get infected with something and create the alien. GOD KNOWS?! god being ridley scott

If prometheus goes back in time i'll be disappointed. It will create an altered future where the alien derelict may never be found. I think the previews are out of sequence. I think they find the chamber and pods on a planet that has an atmosphere since they are without helmets in those scenes. Something there leads them to another planet. Maybe they triggered something that prompted the sj race to follow and investigate. The sj ship has an accident and crashes. This is when the prometheus crew go inside (scenes with suits on) to explore.

The alien and the sj are obviously both biomechanical beings. The alien had to be one of the sj's lab creations. Just theories. I guess my mind will be satisfied when the movie is finally in theatres. Ridley never fails to deliver the best! I can't wait to see what began (in Ridleys mind) that led to ALIEN!!!

I do get the feeling that the facehugger and the alien are a product of the sj race. Possibly from the sj's own dna. This would explain how the eggs could be on the ship and the pilot unaffected. (someone had to load them). the facehugger is too perfectly fitted for the human head. It must have been a creation for the destruction of the human race. The ship found by the Nostromo crew had a human aboard. The seat/suit they find "fossilized" was probably a crew mwmber from prometheus who highjacked that craft. The pilot had been infected and crashed when the alien burst out.

i think the original xenomorph obviously is only created at the end end of prometheus. just my guess but if the alien was the lab creation of the jockeys then its been there all along, the film won't be focused on the aliens, must be caused by the first meting of jockeys/humans? just say the jockeys use bio weapon on the humans then they throw it back at the jockeys and creates the fucked up thing known as the xenomorph

@ jbsmit3 Aren't we, humans, bio-mechanical in our own way? A much more sophisticated mechanical being than those robots made by Sony or Honda. Isn't PINOCCHIO a Creationist Parable? We are nothing but a bunch of Pinocchios on this earth. PROMETHEUS seeks to finally present us with our Gepetto.

Aren't we all bio-mechanical ourselves? We have bones, teeth, phallus, herd mentality, sharp claws we clip very now and then, a naughty tail, and molecular acid (yes, our stomach lining can withstand pH2, why don't the Defense Department replicate that!). What ee have that the Xeno doesn't is compassion, empathy, and morality. Something an Android like Ash would regard as a curse.

so many different takes on this film, from time travel to how the xeno became.....like star wars, alien was a film that threw you into it. in order for it to work there had to be a back story of somewhat to base everything filmed. Ridley knew this, we didnt....so here we all are , now, and were all fasinated to this backstory....i still think , that the LV-426 planetoid became a crash site for the derilict, due to the sj being infected and crashed...there were 4 planets total when the nostromo was in orbit around lv-426. zero oxygen on 426...zero. so no human can live, only a Perfect organism...ash states that to dallas thats theres no air to breathe,but the breakdown of the atmosphere is insteresting..what if, now dont rip me up, but a crew member of prometheus, gets infected, starts to change into a different form(Kinda like district 9, actor) and gets the ability to use sj weapons and can understand things like flying a spacecraft?.they must find a way to leave the planet there stranded on, maybe the sole survivor is 2 people, a sj/humanoid and a real human...they leave in a ship...the sj/humanoid dies, the other human becomes a host, a alien queen is hatched, uses the crashed ship as a nest and runs off in search of food or what.......the eggs are located in a confined section of the ship with the protected boundary layer of blue light..... and here we are, so what came first the chicken or the egg...thats the question....we all agree that nothing can stay upright on a crash, so there were no eggs on the derilict, and the ship itself is right side up, the control room clearly seen in alien on the top of the ship......the other is the rapid growth of the alien from its birth, that is surly a sign of something, the start of humanity? yall are some very smart people on this form and I love it....

What if the first queen alien is charlize ?

I predict the film will take place on ONE planet.

@Engr101 - But didn't the Xenomorph also get described as the perfect creature. Devoid of feelings, morality and born only with the purpose to survive no matter what the cost. . . But then if the Xeno's were engineered, I find it very cliche that the created then go on to destroy the creators. It's been dones before!
