@craigamore German trailer is great quality and shows a little more of some frames, Thx. When David is pulling green stuff from canister you can see more of its container, and markings on side verifying it is one of the ampules.

I noticed a few extra shots towards the end of the German trailer. However they are just different angles of the derelict ship falling over. These shots are very brief - split seconds.

I've just noticed something, not sure if its in the older trailer but in the german trailer at approx 36 seconds, you can see a big UFO in the sky, it appears to be coming out of a building. You can see the UFO in the other trailer but I didn't notice the building before.

In the Spanish trailer recording of the voices at first says: Woman 1: No lo comprendéis = You do not understand Woman 2: Se acerca, ¡se acerca! = the approaches, the approaches! or Is coming, is coming! Woman 2: Necesitamos... = We need... Woman 1: Me equivoque = I was wrong Woman 1: Fue un grave error = I was so wrong Woman 1: Lo siento mucho = I'm so sorry (Here I am not sure which of the two women belongs the voice which is a crying) In the end shaw shouts: Por favor = Please! PS: I'm not 100% sure but I think that women number 1 may be Elizabeth Shaw, and women's number 2 as Meredith Vickers, but I'm not entirely sure.

@Engineer Prototype - Model GAJ84 is right, in the second 36 you can see a building or structure on the horizon behind the UFO... but not only is seen in the trailer German, also in the original

I think their is an entrance in the middle of that structure and not only that, behind the mist is the temple.. you want to see the pictures? I've wondered if that is the derelict under there..

Make of them what you like.. but I did notice that in the first Detail photo, when I was adjusting some level, that the middle oppened up.. but it could be anything. @danrald, your photos can be seen better the silhouette of the building... apparently during the creation of life on Earth already had a laboratory or Temple of creation...but we cannot be 100% sure that that is the flashback

@Aquila210 the German version and the Spanish version has a few small differences, curiously in the Spanish version of the trailer does not mention the word Prometheus or Theus. Rather says the approaches, the approaches or is coming, is coming. In my opinion Spain made a mistake in translating the trailer ... buy the way very nice image of xenomorph. Regards

no, I dont think its a building on the foto with the UFO..its just rock structures of the waterfall ( in iceland)

@Shambhala Yes, I think they've tried to use other footage of the already translated material to make it fit to the length of the original intro sequence. The distress call to Prometheus is new. The German "Bitte!!!" ("please!!!") didn't sound very convincing to me, though. But if they have the same voice for Noomi that was used in the Stig Larsson movies it will be ok - Lisbeth translated very well! Also this means that the post-production is on a good way since they are have already recruited the staff for the international voiceovers and are working on the international releases. I wish I could sneak into one of those dubbing studios... And yes I was so happy tp meet an orginal H.R. Giger Alien after all these years! Best regards, Aquila210

@Aquila210, There is a theory that I read in this forum some time a go, which said that the radio call of "Prometheus" is the same signal of warning of "Alien, the eighth passenger". The argument would be that Elizabeth Shaw made the call or radio message to warn the seed of mankind about the dangers of Zeta Reticuli. Perhaps not the best analogy but can be like the girl in "The blair witch project". Perhaps voice of shaw sounds distorted in Alien that the message was taxed inside the spacecraft jockey, then the alien technology translated the voice of Shaw to sj language...

@Shambhala Now that you say it I remember having read about this... The idea is valid, yet I am not buying it, just a feeling. But any guess is as good as the other. If it would be true that would be a very nice tie-in to the Alien series, for sure.

I'm a newbie here and not sure how to open a new thread, but I have a question that I don't recall anyone addressing so far: in the trailer, the guy (Holloway) get's his face spayed with acid, but it's pretty clear his helmet is still intact.Any thoughts on what is happening exactly?

@Aquila210 YES, it most likely that this will not happen. Maybe those voices are just dialogues and were decorated with interference to give more suspense and mystery to the trailer. Turn can be transmitted from the Prometheus communications to alert the explorers, and unfortunately missing 121 days to know lol

@markcbelfats I think that Holloway is mutating, possibly infected by the substance containing the Urns/ampules. [img]http://www.avpspectrum.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/normal_028.jpg[/img] The reason I ask is no one seems to really be able to tell if that is Holloway in the 1st pic, but it appears that it is him in the 2nd (see ...WAY at the end of the nameplate on his 'cap'). There is the assumption the 1st and 2nd pic are connected, but I still don't think anyone is sure. As to how the 'acid' or 'infection' gets to them while their helmet is on... I honestly have no ideas other than whatever is in the ampules is the most likely culprit.

Shambhala, I've read the same theories. You know, they really did a great job on the trailer where it introduces so many questions, yet no information that could lead to solid answers were ever given.

I think the mutant jumping guy and the guy in the shot with the woman collapsing in the med bay (not David and not the guy in the wheelchair, the guy on the floor next to the guy in the wheelchair) are the same guy. Reason being is that the guy in the medbay bit and the mutant both have mohawks. That's what I reckon anyways.

@Membrane Ya, the Working with this trailer has been magnificent, zero answers dozens of questions (perhaps hundreds lol) And @Cypher interesting point, interesting point, I did not notice the subject in the laboratory / nursing with the mohawk
