I know....but after I posted the Spanish and German trailers, other members noticed interesting variations in the meaning of the opening dialogue in those trailers that differed from the english version. Check out the the original thread and you'll see what I mean.

No diff people. And somebody on the forum found out that the shady structure in the waterfall shot is a natural rock structure, NOT some kind of alien citadel in ancient Earth.
Though I would love somebody to make a movie out of that single shot alone, LOL!! I don't know what Fox people re doing. AVATAR is a US$2.7 billion proof that there is a humongous thirst for science-fiction adventure movies. They should expand beyond re-making their old movies and invest in new ideas, and new talents.

I think some of us are starting to see things
Out of the teaser trailer because they cannot
wait for the movie and overanalyze the images.
Hope Fox releases an over 2 mins trailer
Soon to avoid insanity ;)

Hi! As you should know french is an extremely precise language... and the trailer is very explecite: I can not say who is talking but it's the same female voice talking with a panic voice:
-Vous ne comprenez pas? (How come don't you understand?)
- Écoutez-moi... C'était une erreur... (Listen to me! It was a mistake (to do that)
- J'ai eu tort... On aurait jamais dû... (It was my mistake... We should have never did that...)
-Je suis désolé... (I am so sorry...)
J'adore cracher dans la soupe, surtout lorsqu'elle est fumante et que l'on s'apprête à la servir à des convives affamés...

Vous ne comprenez pas could be better translated by: How come you don't understand?

I speak the language fluently as I live and grew up in Montreal. Our French here however is a ittle less formal than in FRANTZ haha and we have the much over the world desired "POUTINE" and "SMOKE MEAT" hot spots.
Here's a good addittion to your list.
"je ne comprendre pas"
{ I do not understand}
"Ou sans les Cinema?"
{Where are the movie theaters?}
&
"Vouler-Vous venir hez moi"?
{Would you like to come over to my place?}
Cheers man !
