Parasite in head.........

Awesome share, I have not seen this before. Definitely looks like something jumping out of something. To me its looks like somekind of parasite or frog like creature jumping out of what looks like either a helmet or some kind of egg sac.

I see something, but the animated gif moves way too fast. In fact it was hurting my brain to watch that lol. Maybe post a slower one for closer examination!?

Man, I think you're onto something. Can't say for sure, but it looks like it could be the same scene. I wish that leaked trailer was a little clearer. If it is a parasite/creature and that's a head, maybe it finds it's way into Holloway's head and that's what we're seeing under the skin of his face moving around. Purely speculating here.

BTW it does look more like a egg sac of some sort than a head, but I know that's speculated to be Jockey head as well.

UGH, just had a disturbing thought about a parasite in the head the way that I just described it. Sounds too much like the Goa'uld from Stargate (Which is also based on ancient astronaut theories), I love that show, but I want to see something different here.

If we could have this gif as a sequence of stills. You can open this up in Photoshop and/or Gimp and export each frame as a jpeg but I'm too lazy to do it now. BTW, there is another leaked trailer similar to this one but with the words "WILD CARD" across the center of the screen. Okay, here's the scoop Prometheus stole fire from Zeus, and gave it to man, for his punishment Prometheus was stricken with never ending pain and suffering by Zeus The Prometheus spaceship and crew, humans/androids stumbles upon an unknown lifeform/power/biochemical enterity and try and take it for themselves, all looks good for a while, thinking that they have found the new beginning to evolve mankind They think that they succeeded but are unaware that the keepers (space jockies) are watching their every move. While man tries to experiment with their new found bounty, they start a chain of reactions that starts a chain of terrifying events that scare the space jockies into a panic who then unleash their "dogs" to prevent the Prometheus from escaping. Because not all beings on the Prometheus are human, (remember Bishop/Ash) there is hope that the Space Jockies will call off their 'dog" if what ever was taken is returned...... They return what was taken and as punishment all that man touched is destroyed except the androids that the Space Jockies keep to study..... Unknowing to the Space Jockies the human androids have the ability to send to earth the discovery and events that occued, earth activate the human androids into sending the so called distress signal.......... The signal is intercepted by the Nostromos BTW I'm only guessing, just like the rest of you

So forgetting about this guys disturbing personal diary and back on subject. I think you found something very interesting Bellaisanalien and if you're right just as big a find as the blue guy in jockey chair room, IMO at least. One more thing I don't remember seeing anybody post about was that the Jockey suits behind Noomi in the hallway are assumed by most to possibly be statues, however the body next to the "head" is definitely not a statue as it laying limp like a dead body would. Any thoughts on this.

Wow this thread is really interesting... and it made me remember Ridley saying that small things will have great importance and impact on the plot. Perhaps a small parasite adheres to the helmet of Holloway's, then this parasite is removed without any apparent risk. But what they don't know is that small and simple event will begin a bloody massacre unprecedented; and that it will finally conclude with the extermination of the crew. The idea of creatures or parasites that they break into the helmets of the crew really scares me... Regards

That would totally fill in with what I was thinking that Ridley is using some of the aspects of the first Alien script that were later written out in Prometheus. I'm not talking about reusing the story which would be completely STUPID, but instead they're using some elements + ideas. In the trailer you can obviously see jars, or urns, in this giant monolithic temple-thing. Well if you look in the original Alien script I was talking about, look what happens: [b]Script Excerpt[/b] Broussard is standing on a dusty stone floor, with a feeble column of sunlight shining down around him from the tunnel above. Around is solid darkness. He flashes his datastick around. The beam reveals that he is in a stone room. STRANGE HEIROGLYPHICS are carved into the walls. They have a primitive, religious appearance. Row after row of pictograms stretch from floor to ceiling, some epic history in an unknown language. Huge religious symbols dominate one wall. Spaced at intervals are stylized stone statues, depicting grotesque monsters, half anthropoid, half octopus. BROUSSARD It’s unbelievable! It’s like some kind of tomb… some primitive religion!
