T-Shirts?

why not buy extras and sell them off.....i would be willing to buy two

I wouldn't mind a Prometheus T-shirt. I'm willing to pay for one, too. In other news but related to this topic, I was working on a template for a Prometheus T-shirt....admittedly it's not much; it's basically the head in the ampule room with the Prometheus logo at the bottom.

I would love a prometheus shirt, I would also pay for one. Maybe we could even get a design discussion going possibly even a vote on the desired image? This could be fun!

I can confirm we will be making a series of Prometheus themed T-Shirts to give away in the month of MAY so that members here may wear them to the premier showing of Prometheus at their local theatre. Here's some information for you excited and eager fans who would want one... THEY WILL NOT BE SOLD FOR ANY PRICE. (Legally, we can't do that) They will be given away at my discretion to members here to who exhibit the most enthusiasm towards Prometheus, who contribute the most to active discussions and act respectful and friendly when on these boards. Depending on how much it costs me to make them will determine how many I can make and ship out. But the donations to this site have helped save up for that. SO I hope to get at least 12. As for design: - PROMETHEUS LOGO (front chest portion of T-Shirt) - NEW WEYLAND LOGO (Either embroidered on shoulder panel, or silk screened on back portion of the shirt) I will post up a prototype design very soon in a new thread with more information very soon.

Yep count me in for a shirt if they go on sale. even baseball caps would sell i think.

I've debated doing WEYLAND Corp baseball caps with the new Weyland logo from Prometheus. But again, it will depend on the quote I get on them. I will not be selling them, so just be a registered member here, post a lot, b friendly and you could be in it for a chance to win!

Great idea Bug hunter, also, the first day of the movie, in what ever country you may reside in, we should all photograph ourselves at the theater with tickets in hand. Also, you should place the web page name on the shirt, the left chest side, it would help promote the site and there will be a lot of us out and about at the theaters. We should do what the Dark knight did and place all out photos within the Prometheus poster.... Also, I found a Weyland Zip hoodie, but the store is in England...or on ebay...but they all have the Yutani as well. Being that I want to chip in, I am working on the Ship's logo, like the Nostromo but It will say the RSV Prometheus, Weyland Corp and then flags of the United States and space administration along side it, but when I am nearing completion I will email it you guys...

and the R.S.V stands for (Research. Science. Vessel)....but it will evolve more when I am working on it...

I think you should go with the embroidered logo on the shoulder BugHunter. That would just look cool, and will last longer than screen printing IMO. I for one would be proud to be the Aussie member promoting Prometheus with your shirt over here :-P and I even considered having a baseball cap made for myself a few weeks back with the Weyland logo on front and the Prometheus logo in smaller embroidering on the back.

I will do a "Magellan" one as well....lol...just to be prepared.

Another idea..."Prometheus/Magellan" Flight Crew Tee's....with the Weyland Logo on back....okay, Im done...for now.

A Tshirt?!....this get's a facebook style LIKE. If they had the "omgfreakingawesomeiloveit" button...I would choose that.

I do want the WEYLAND CROP logo to be embroidered, and the PROMETHEUS text silk screened. I am debating on Weyland Corp logo on the top left chest panel? Or shoulder panel? Chest would be more visible and would look like the fictional official WEYLAND shirts you see the crew wearing. I like the ideas folks, I just finished contacting a few retailers to get a quote. It will probably be quite a bit but this site has grown so large, I figure its worth it. As for the site logo/address printed on it, maybe. They normally charge per-letter with this kind of stuff. I'm sure when you guys are out at the theatre, someone will be like "Where did you get that shirt??!?!!?" and you can respond "I got it from Prometheus-Movie.com!" ;)

All these ideas are GREAT! We should definitely all take pictures of ourselves with tickets in hand and our t-shirt on at the theater.

The logo at a decent size would look good on the upper chest. When I was in the military, that is how we designed out tee's for our unit. Perhaps "Prometheus on top and the Weyland logo below with the wings in the middle, separating the names. Or, "Celebrating 53 years"...just throwing that out there...lol We all have cameras on our phone and I think the picture idea is great...

I think the picture idea is a great one too. But okay, so you guys can give feedback, here's a VERY basic, rough idea of what I plan to do. The WEYLAND logo on the FRONT will be embroidered, the one on the back silk screen, as well as the Prometheus text. I was thinking I could add the film's tagline under the Prometheus text. Give me your thoughts.
