MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 10:49 AMThe one thing that would make me hurl my soda at that screen and walk out of the theater is if a resurected Weyland and his posse break into the lab. He injects himself with that gel from the urn and mutates into a space jockey. He and his cronies make their escape to the temple complex and hijack the Mala'kak vessel for their return to Earth so that he can truely exercise his delusion of changing the world using the engineer's technology. No, no, no.......

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 10:54 AMThats what I was thinking. Esp since we have seen very little of wayland. And RS has kept quiet on his involvement in the film.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 11:16 AMAll I can say to this is: "I hope you're wrong, you are so wrong!" Interesting thread though. But I still hope you're wrong.
You don\\\'t see them fucking each other over for a goddamn percentage!

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 11:53 AMthat would be interesting actually. and i dont think he would go to earth to help the human race, the trailure makes it seem like the sj is going there to destroy not build.

I would probably be following you shortly after!!
I think we're putting a little too much importance on Weyland. I don't think he turns into a space jokey. We don't even now if he's coming along for the ride. If he does he would surely be desperate to inject himself with alien goo without any real understanding about what it does. It does sound like something he would do though knowing the kind of egotistical character he is. I'm still of the opinion that now one turns into a Jockey and if they do certainly not Weyland.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 12:34 PM Not possible. Weyaland dead. That his descendent, not him. He died in AVP 1. AVP 1 Weyland cooler than the current one.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 1:37 PMCould be worse. Given the choice of writer they could have the derelict go through a wormhole and go back in time to ancient Earth so that it turns out that Weyland himself created all life on Earth. Cringeworthy stuff.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 1:43 PMXenokiller do you seriously believe AVP still has something to do with this film? All I'm seeing you do is attempt to troll peoples discussions with AVP this and AVP that. If that's your views by all means that's fine and I have no problem but it just seems like you're just trolling to me.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 1:56 PMI've pretty much relegated to myself that Weyland is the space jockey we see. On paper is sound like shit, but a lot of stories on paper sound awful and turn interesting via style it is done in.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 2:24 PMStop dragging the dead body of AVP into all this! LMAO! Ignore those! They are the fat you cut off your steak and throw away before you eat it.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 2:28 PMThe website of Weyland does not mention the dead of it's founder. No, I'm quite certain he's on the ship (old bald guy). And BTW: AVP != canon.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 3:12 PMScariest part is there are people CLINGING to AvP as being part of canon.; Why? god only knows. I found both of them to be beyond unwatchable.
AvP:R is still the worst movie ever made.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 3:23 PMI loved the avp movies!!! They need to make more!!! The last one was awesome!!

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 9:36 PMAVP did not happen.
