MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 3:44 PMOk......didn't find this....so I hope it isn't a duplicate, but one of the most interesting and ominous shots in the new trailers seems to have slipped through our collective attentive interest and scrutinous grasp......What the HELL are we looking at here?

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 3:50 PMI don't know....the more I look at it, the more it fascinates me....the detail apparent in the collection of bodies? corpses? who knows.....is more and more intriguing

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 3:52 PMYeah, I wondered about that too. It looks like a pile of bones or some remains of something that has been eaten...

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 3:54 PMSeriously though, yes it is fascinating. Looks kind of shrivelled. Shed skin?

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 4:04 PMI remember reading in another thread regarding that picture, he even highlighted an arm and a hand i think. I had difficulty making it out myself, the scene is too dark for my eyes to make it out.

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 4:06 PMKind of a long shot but my suspicion is that one of the Jockey's has gone mad and killed the others. Ridley had said that the characters go searching for an advanced civilization only to discover some very uncivilized behavior. The Prometheus crew arrives to find the aftermath of this event and come into contact with the rogue Jockey. And then hilarity ensues.

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 4:09 PMlately Ive been considering that perhaps the biomechanoids fuse with organic material to create the sjs, so when the flesh fails and dies the wee little machines surivive in their natural state, which could be why the ceiling appears to be crawling with movement in the trailer.
After they are exposed to usable material a new sj is created? Possibly could even be how the knowledge of the ages is 'stored'?
Considering the level of dedication and intelligence ive seen on this site that idea is probably ancient by now lol

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 4:15 PMIm wandering whether the Jockeys have died out and this civilisation is left undisturbed until the Prometheus arrives. The blue guys could be advanced forms of cyborgs that are activated when David starts up the starchart.

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 4:32 PMIt looks a full body on the floor, and if you look at it, does ressemble the xenomorph's head from Aliens.
They were diferent from Alien and Alien 3, or it's just me wanting to see

MemberOvomorphMar-28-2012 9:35 PMThe SJs evolved so far they turned back into primordial goo and left their suits.

MemberOvomorphMar-29-2012 6:08 AMDead Space Jockeys, I reckon they are only tools for The Elders and arent given life unless they are required to provide a service?. Either that or there was a bit of a coup and these guys lost?
