I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but this site has grown to be an enormous catalog of information regarding the movie. And I like your post. I will now kill about an hour researching this very substance, thanks to you. I think there a lot of clues hidden in plain site on the Weyland website. And yes, you have found one. It wasn't me being all deep about it, i just saw a material I didn't recognize as a element or common industrial material, and had to look it up. And lo and behold, it matched up with something on theme. Now we just need to see if there are photos to be released due to variations of this information.

Indeed yes a Supstance the origin of all living things, would connect maybe with the Space Jockeys, and maybe they use it to Bio Engineer Organisms. Maybe thats whats in the Canisters/Pods. Maybe thats what David meant by Small Things have Big Endings etc. For all we know this movie could be a Total Shocker and put David in the Frame for the one who goes to create the Xeno's by infecting the Jockey somehow?

I find it interesting that, on the Weyland site, when listing employees. They show One Android(david) to be an 'employee.' Further investigation of the site shows there are several million 'Davids' working in different sectors of Weyland Industries. Could it be very possible that they all share the SAME "brain," like a hive of insects. Just food for thought!
