2) Which director would you like to direct a Prometheus 2 ( except of course Ridley Scott ) ?
3) the Weyland company in Prometheus must be : a) essential to the plot b) well present not the main factor but surely part of it c) well present but just a side plot d) just background story
4) an android , a total AI ( not a human clone then , genetic material just used for flesh, muscles ,eyes etc ... ) deserve a) total respect as a human b) lets take care of it as labor force but with some rights c) come on is a can with wires

1. I liked Ripley in Alien and Aliens, in the next two crappy sequels (ok, Alien 3 was half crappy, but still) she was pretty much annoying to me. And then, Ash.
2. I don't want a sequel. But IF there is one, Ridley has to be the one.
3. B
4. B or A. Ok, B.

1) Any of the crew of the Nostromo...they all have their moments
2) RIDLEY SCOTT...case closed
3) essential
4) difficult to answer....if that became possible, they would adance to a point, eventually, where you might have to give them rights...not doing so would likely lead to the revolt scenario everyone's seen countless time in the literature..

1. Bishop and Hicks.
2. Cronenberg
3. B
4. C. but I wouldn't abuse it either, due to code of personal conduct rather than empathy for a machine.

And what would cecil b de mille do with sc fi lol. I would like to see oliver stone apply himself to a scfi as well.

I guess you guys have never seen Metropolis, if you think Fritz Lang directing an Alien movie is nonsense.
April 07, 2012
Indeed, Biehn_Bandit............just remember Spartacus, they didn't even have sound in movies, when this was concieved:

i've seen metropolis years ago who said it was nonsense?
The nonsense was intended at the Impossibility of dead guys directing.

@alteredstate.....that's the Internet for you. Intentions are often misinterpreted. But as an exercise, thinking about how dead directors might have handled things, is kinda fun. For example, can you imagine Hitchcock not forcing Rapace to dye her hair blonde?
