MemberOvomorphApr-09-2012 12:24 PMhahaha ya, but dude, look, he's going for the chains right there. Trying to swing over to them. I Love it. Or may be you are right and he's at that moment where he jumps off of them.

Anyways, yes this was a great scene...the absence of a score during the chain swing scene is excellent!

MemberOvomorphApr-09-2012 1:10 PMI also love the buildup to that when the water droplets are pat-pat-patting on Brett's (Stanton) trucker hat and he takes it off to let water run on his face. The tension is fantastic.

I find it spooky, too, and also the absence of soundtrack, the dripping noises, the chains, very effective.
I also thought I forgot about that scene until I realized it wasn't in the theatrical version, but just on the director's cut.
But in the end I am happy that it wasn't put in the theatrical version, as it would have spoiled much of the mystery around the creature, while it is a great addition to the director's cut, as it is eye candy and a nice tribute to us fans.
Though my question is "That thing is huge, how could Brett miss it?"
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born.
Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.
