just wondering why everyone is so quick to trust Bishop, after all he is a company droid is he not? I mean come on, he MUST have had orders from the company, they are usually airtight in every respect, you think they were going to get lax with Bishop's mission? It's hard to believe they would just let him take it easy and be the good guy

Well number one, the only person to date that's been screwed over by a synthetic and lived to tell about it was Ripley. Number 2, well, the only person that's been screwed by the Company and lived to tell about it was Ripley. No one was given much incentive to not trust him.
