Planet of the Vampires influence ?

No please no vampires in this movie! Sorry but the Twilight series emasculated that genre!

The movie is a sci-fi classic. It has nothing to do with Twilight or other aberrations like that :D

In fact, it's well known that 'Planet of The Vampires' was one of the original inspirations for 'Alien'...so, it doesn't surprise me in the least...

Sorry man! Thought it was some cheesy vampire film! You may be right but I think it would have to do with genetic memory and not out right possesion.

I find that scene along with the scene of the remains of dead space jockeys (??) the most bizarre and misterious ones so far. Cant wait to see the movie !

@ Cypher that's not all!!!! The amature AT BEST author of the twilight series wrote a ALIEN ROMANCE NOVEL called the Host! Looks like Ridley's Prometheus will be the last great sci-fi movie before they ruin the noble and magestic genre that is SCIENCE FICTION! I think we should send this author and the producers,actors and director a FACEHUGGER!

It's funny...much as I dislike 'Twilight', I wouldn't have my job without that movie...

I stopped on Vampires after Buffy. I was like 9.

It's weird. I never noticed that, but now that you mention it...

I work in Special Education actually.....a friend of mine that I used to work with me in retail left to work at this school and I hadn't seen her in months...she wanted me to take her to see 'Twilight' and I agreed...while we were waiting for the movie to start, we got to talking about her job and how I hated mine, wanted a way out and she told me she thought I'd be perfect working with special needs children...so I checked it out and here I am, looking up at what appears to be a career in a job I absolutely love to death....

Wow craigmore that's a really cool way to get a job! As the nephew of a special needs aunt I totaly admire your work with these children! Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks man...I love what I do and it's just so amazing to work with these kids...see the progress they have to fight to make on the littlest things and just how awesome it is when they do...
