The run time for Prometheus has apparently been noted at 119 minutes according to a video of the interview with the cast held in Paris this evening: Watch It Here. Thanks to PrometheusNews.net for the tip. Also, see a new image of Vickers here: vickers looking sexy

@ GEM, Yep... and if they can get that done by Xmas 2014, it would sort of coincide with the 35th Anniversary of Alien. Im ok with that.. An ALIEN PREQUEL TRILOGY!! It would be the reverse of Star Wars with the BETTER movies coming in the first 3 films!! Cameron will have to relegate himself to the final 3 flicks. Im going to refer to those as the ummm... JAR JAR COLLECTION. ; )

And then It will be David Fincher's turn, with Alien Hypercubed. There have already been talks with Fox, and there is a budget and a time schedule already. I have read somewhere that Finchley will have just over 2 weeks and a full 900$ budget. Also Fox have already stated that they will cut 50% of it, no matter how long it will be. I'm getting excited by the hour!
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born. Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

although the shorter running time is disappointing, i'd rather have 119 minutes of awesome film making, than i would 140 minutes of superfluous garbage that some films of late are more than happy to bore us with there is ALWAYS the chance that an R-Rated cut with a longer running time could be shown, short-run in the theaters. not likely, but at least i can hope... and...Bluray will be well worth the wait
