Really, Stolen stuff starts off this chain of events

@Chimera I am with you. If you leave things laying around on the floor people are going to pick them up and wonder what they are. But, we are assuming that the crew stole something and not some ancient man (during their visit), and the whole 'stole something' isn't just a red herring.

@Chimera ... BTW ... I wasn't saying anything negative about your post ... just a possible reason why no-one would ;) ... and I agree if stuff IS left around us humans WILL f*ck with it ... we HAVE to interfere with everything so yeah I'm with you on that point ;) ...

@Chimera - My thoughts are that you should watch the movie before jumping to conclusions and getting upset. No one has a clue yet until we the see movie, so theres no point getting upset over something youre just guessing is going to happen.

One thing to remeber guys is there seems to be only one Engineer in the movie there may be more, but i dont see a hole bunch of them. Also consider what happend to the Engineer whos body is seen on the floor. Maybe the SJ was messing about created something that went wrong got lose and started to kill them all off. They managed to kill it and then they decided they need to move the rest of this Organism to another World. This could explain the Derelict on Alien and being different and landing at a different time? We just dont know whats going on for sure. Only we do see what apears to be dead Engineers/Jockeys and only one or a few that survived. But how? why? when?

Well maybe we should ignore the trailers and see what Ridley has said in the past before this movie and after. 1) The Derelict was carrying a Cargo of Eggs 2) The Space Jockey was a suit. He also hinted at the posibility of the Derelict being a Bomber of somekind, in other words its purpose is to destroy life maybe not completely but as we know it..... Hence maybe why in this movie the Derelict is heading to Earth, and we have to stop it or there would be no home to go back to. 3) The Derelict was parked, that hints to maybe it landing there and something goes wrong after it does? 4) The last 8 minutes of this movie will show Alien DNA and be a direct link or explanation as to how/why/when the Derelict lands on LV426 5) The movie synopsis is about mankind searching for our Orgins and we instead find Bio Mechanic Race of Killers. 6) Ridley and Lindelof say that the crew hope to find answers and find a civilised race, but what they find are a race who are doing un civilised things. 7) They also say this movie is how the Mommy meets the Daddy. 8) They reference how if you go to watch a Rolling Stones Concert you will always expect them to play one of their greatest hits even as a encore. The last point would sugest we would see at some point either a Organism that looks pretty much identicle to the Xeno or Face Hugger or after said scene will draw a direct connection between what ever is shown in one scene at the end and the Xeno/Face Hugger, or we will see the Alien Eggs. Those points i feel are all very interesting.
