you're right but the name was meant to imply something stronger than normal we have such acids that can't even be stored in jars there are certain types of acid that are far stronger than just industrial strength sulphuric or hydrochloric and at that strength they also melt metals and glass by destroying the bonds between molecules- thus making them molecular acids but i see your point, its similar to some-one buying "organic" food when in fact most food is organic by it very nature
