Hmmm.... I like this idea! But something is bothering me- if we were banished, then why put up murals in caves which can lead the banished right back to the banisher? Surely the SJ's might have contemplated that at least one of their genetically-engineered species would become space-faring one day and come to find them? Again, the idea is interesting- especially the Eden part. The only way I can reconcile it is that the murals are not an invitation, but a warning: "Wherever you decide to go, just don't come here". Wow... this movie is tougher to crack the deeper you go into it!

Who's [i]The Snake[/i] then? And what's [i]the apple[/i], forbidden to taste/eat? Could it be the fire which Prometheus stole in myth? Also some refer that apple is sexuality of mankind? So, anyway the snake corrupted [i]Eve[/i] to brake rules of the engineers. Eve then passed corruption to [i]Adam.[/i] Both got a bite of the apple. Now engineers about to have facepalm cause (corrput and mutated) children would be running all over the garden tearing the whole place down. "That's enough! Out of here you baaastads!" And so we got on Earth. :) On other hand what if the garden's snake is just humans primitive part in brain function which snaps in ever once in a while? After all the efforts engineers made they thought not to waste prototypes yet and give em a chance, just maybe by curiosity what would we become in long run. I can imagine one of the engineers saying to other; "I got a feeling we'll regret this one day butt very well..." :D What if human core is Alien, inner brain layer and backbone. All else is redesigned over it? Same goes with other life the engineers have spread all over the existence? There is only one original species among themselves, The Alien race? And maybe some other beigns on their home world perhaps. A bag of silly thoughts to chew up.

this is just my opinion - but i get the impression that none of the alien creatures are native to these "lv " planets that are in the first few films and now prometheus ... perhaps it is just one of many places they have spent some time... doing alien things... but it is an interesting concept

Was thinking about it....about the actual story...we would have to chronicle our genesis but would have passs the story down to the ages so like all things it would lose it's finer points due to the retelling and if it were written it would lose more again in translation.. I suppose the key points would be creation...eve created from adams rib... Eating from the tree of knowledge (stealing from the gods) The role of the serpent.......satan who was once one of them but now? So could a rogue sJ be the creator of the xen And was he changed as punishment.
