"out of the box theory"

I genuinly believe this or something close to this... Speeded up version. Peter Weyland truly believes hes the "All Mighty". A lot of information given on the Weyland website is interesting and leads me to this. He sends a Mission full of Davids out to Lv426 years earlier to terraform the planet. Whilst there, the Davids also improve technology greatly, through there high efficiency etc,mostly bio mechanically. Problem being, they cant reproduce without any female genitalia.There also due to expire. They set all wheels in motion ie....Understands how humans behave so sets up mural,human head etc and leaves a load of canisters full of their engineered dna for the Prometheus to find. was this the "pet project" to see what a mechanical God would create???
