I had to PInch Myself, and check this info for one whole week to make sure it was real, and in the end, it is and I am Blown Away. What a joy to have/seen these images!!! Having seen the script before, I can confirm that this indeed RS's script! However, there is another script that exists that is meticulous. I don't recall who it belongs to, but I've seen it in a documentary in the past couple of weeks. It may have been O'Bannon's copy. I have some and I very much appreciate your taking the time... #1- Lets assume it is true and it is in fact you that is the owner now I would want to know how in fact you came about acquiring the item in question because I wonder why Mr. Scott would even consider letting it go..How did you get the opportunity to acquire it to start off. Did he personally approach you or your web site, did he put it up for auction, did you get to meet him, whats the story behind it all? Gotta go to work but will check back in at around 6 PM est today.

That one is easy. I did not buy it from ridley scott directly. Dont think nowadays he would put this for sale. I am a movie collector, and have been looking for a real shooting script for alien for a year. I contacted a crew member for alien, I cant reveal his name, and I asked him if he had any script. When he told me he actually had ridley scott one my jaw went down. I thought he was on a mistake until I saw the drawings and lettering. This guy worked closely with ridley in the postproduction. Ridley brought everyday this script to the studio. When the postproduction ended, this crew member was the last man standing in the studio, and there were orders that all material left behind would go to the garbage. He saw the script left alone in a desk, and knowing his poor destiny, he took it. It has been in his possesion for more than 30 years, and he happily wrote me a letter of provenance, telling me this story, details on what he did in the movie, some stories with ridley, etc.

JUST INCREDIBLE MAN JUST AWESOME IS THEIR A MOVIE HALL OF FAME ANYWHERE? NOT SURE AND I AM ALMOST 50 AND LOVE FILM, I SHOULD KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS BUT I DO NOT...WHAT DO YOU INTEND TO DO WITH IT, JUST TUCK IT AWAY? IMO IT BELONGS WITH EITHER ME...LOL...OR ON DISPLAY SOMEWHERE FOR ALL FILM LOVERS TO ADMIRE AND APPRECIATE... THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME ONCE AGAIN I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE YOU DOING THIS.

I agree this belong to a museum, but, until that moment comes,.... to me JA jA JA. At least I recovered from oblivion and self destruction, as it was very bad preserved. Has some humidity stains and in some point the paper is cracking. I love my items to look old, but in this case I had to clean the binder a little, it had a lot of dirt, like abandoned in the floor in any storage or even garage... Now, each page is in a plastic pocket or bag, and the whole thing on a display acrylic case to preserve it from sun light and air.
