To be honest, I am really looking forward to and holding out to read The Prometheus Vault ! But if there is one I want to read now it would be One Stephen King wrote about being able to go back in Time and Change what happened that day to Kennedy !!!

@snapper, if you're going to read dune, i suggest reading dune:butlerian jihad first. It's explains a lot of what happens in that universe heading up to dune.

I like God Emperor Of Dune, my copy is that old it smells of almonds, lol but yeah you kinda need to read the other books first....

PRO 11 never heard of them ? shall look into it HA HA looked ! LSD, beat generation, hippies from 1968 ! the year i was born ! must have been a good year ! not so sure on that one , but i wont discount it !

Check out the Spiderworld series, by Colin Wilson. I quite enjoyed them.

Arthur C Clarke - Rendezvous with Rama. In case u havent read it yet, must read. But only the first and original one in the series, the ones that came after get pretty lame.

I read "Rama" when I was a kid and loved it....very cinematic! Always thought it would have made a great "2001" style space epic.

I read some Gregg Bear recently that I liked. There is a two part book called The Forge of God and Anvil of Stars. The first book is just a warm up for the next book. Still, Bear is an acquired taste, and I spit out his City of Angels.

some interesting suggestions there is the book starship troopers much different from the film storyline wise as sometimes does happen ? the spiderworld and the gregg bear books sound like contenders keep them coming But Reality Dysfunction is winning at the moment !
