Guess my real question is would you anyone along(bf,gf, or friend) if they werent really in on what the movie was?

I will probably start my Prometheus movie night out with going to the bar, maybe a few shots and a beer.
I'll probably snack on something fried or smothered in cheese.... then get my ass to the line with my laptop in hand.
Why bring your other half if they are not interested or crazed as you about a movie? Wouldn't that just ruin your good time?
That is why I will be leaving my husband home.

@Neurion "I believe that we are allowed to have our own opinions. Is this not so?"
I never said you couldn't have your own opinion. I just think your opinion is idiotic.
You needn't change it to please me.

Whoa, Progeny! Brilliant! Now that's what I'm talkin about. My bf will watch it because I want him there, but he may be miserable. I'm hoping the movie will be so good that he'll thank me for dragging his ass to the theater to see it. If not, my viewing experience may not be too pleasant with him sighing, shifting in his seat, and checking his phone. We'll see....

Of course. As a matter of fact I plan to do this to a female friend of mine. I'll slip something in her drink the night before, then get her tied up nice and tight. Maybe use a straight jacket. And while we are in the theatre (ooh, have to remember the ball gag to keep her from ruining my fun) I plan to clamp her eyelids open like in A Clockwork Orange. Of course I will be sitting there administering eyedrops to keep her little glazzies moist because I am not a monster or anything.
OK, she's not really a friend, but I see her every day while I follow her to and from where she works. So we're practically related.

@belladonna
"A whole lotta woman......"
I like that. Hey BDonna, I did'nt mean any insult by using the word "girl." I just meant it in a friendly sense. I remember a time when many women actually liked being called girls. Perhaps, if my original comments hadn't snow-balled into the previous tit for tat discussion...you would understand that didn't mean any harm. I hope you don't see me as a mysoginist, because I'm not. Many of my closest friends are women...who, believe it or not, actually like to be called "girls." But of course, they know me well. I guess I'm just one those politically incorrect, old school guys, who loves a pretty face. Sorry if I came off as a jerk.
Peace,
N

no problem. well in german most women (especially older) i noticed prefer to be called a girl/miss, calling some of them mrs. when they arent a mrs. is like calling them an old lady.
i had worked customer service for too many years and had a lot of older men call me annoying condecending names like "sweety" "honey" and they did refer to me as a "girl" a lot with it.
its just erked me ever since, so its mostly my own issue i wouldnt speak for other females my age.
i look 10 years younger then i really am (and short) so i actually do get mistaken for a kid STILL, lol.
no harm done.
