Directions to Aliens home planet

I have a question that if answered could help me with a hypothesis. Are the drawings and carvings found on Earth to the Alien World created around the same time by different cultures and civilizations or over many millenia??? This could be a huge Easteregg. If over many millenia than Earth has been visited by the Engineers many times. If at one single time, they may have only been here once. If they were here only once it must have been during mans recorded history and may or may not be our creators. They may have created us and stopped back to check in every once in a while. Please post here if you know the answer of the drawing timelines because I have not noticed it in the trailers or I need to watch again when Holloway and Shaw are showing the crew about them and the mission. Thx

I still hold the position that it's possible we are simply bred as raw materials. Population density can still be the trigger, and we are cultivated by a small group of engineers here on earth. the quickest, most inconspicuous way to send a message once the density has reached its peak is with an FTL space ship. As soon as one lands, they infect/kill the crew, track where they're from and begin the harvest. The motivation is simple, the execution is complicated, but hey, it's what they do.

Safe? Of course he isn't safe, but he's good!
