Weyland in contact with Engineers before Prometheus Launches

Now, I haven't seen this discussed, and it's a bit left fieldish, but bear with me. Peter Weyland makes more technological advances more quickly than any single individual I can think of. I think he had help from the Engineers. I was speculating in another thread that we are just raw materials for the Engineers biomechanics. If we start with the premise that the Engineers are completely amoral and long lived if not undying, then every few hundred years or so, a small group of them on earth contact humanity and give them the necessary technology to make the next leap forward to reach the next level of population density. The human race has reached a level of population density that justifies the resources necessary to harvest us, but a technological level that poses no threat. Peter Weyland is given the technological advances to sustain our numbers indefinitely, knowledge of FTL travel, and the clues hidden throughout history pointing to the Engineer harvesters lying in wait for just this opportunity. Once a ship arrives at the harvester site, they infect/kill the crew, track where they are from and return to the fields for harvest.

Takka: why would the space smurfs, if they were in contact with Earth recently need to coax humans into outer space just to wipe them out? Why not, I dunno, wipe them out when they came all the way out there to visit? Me: If we start with the premise that the Engineers are completely amoral and long lived, if not undying, then every few hundred years or so, a small group of them on earth (since the dawn of human civilization) contact humanity and give them the necessary technology to make the next leap forward to reach the next level of population density. Takka: I can just see them hovering about the earth in their smurfship saying, "Wow, these guys look about ready to pick. We should infiltrate their society and encourage them to develop space travel so they can follow the subtle clues we have left behind and journey to our planet so that we know they are ready to pick." Who knows, maybe the space smurfs are just that dumb. ME: The human race has reached a level of population density that justifies the resources necessary to harvest us, but a technological level that poses no threat. Peter Weyland is given the technological advances to sustain our numbers indefinitely, knowledge of FTL travel, and the clues hidden throughout history pointing to the Engineer harvesters lying in wait for just this opportunity (by the small group of engineers left on earth to reach the quota).

Looking at some of the simularities this movie and Alien first scenes (prior to Kane gets Face Hugged) they are simular to that of Planet of the Vampires. In that plot their was two craft that set out to land on a planet following a distress becon. The vampires so to speak set that trap as they need our boddies to live on as they are a dying race who need us to be able to go on. The end of the movie they steal the Humans Ship (which looks same shape as Derelict) and set off to go Earth where there is plenty of Hosts that they can use. Maybe thats whats happening here..... In that movie the two ships land at simular times, in Prometheus we have Promethues land on its own, but Weyland had already launched a mission years prior. Therefore we cant rule out that Weyland has already landed and in cahoots with the Jockeys/Engineers, or indeed he is the Blue Guy? I never thought about that, untill i looked at the plot of Planet of the Vampires and its simularities with this movie.

@RickK An Ad Hominem attack is a logical fallacy that shifts the focus "to the man," rather than confronting his ideas. Takka's reply to my post began "You're like one of those people... etc" This is irrelevant and inappropriate in a rhetorical debate. I merely suggested that he deal with issues with my speculations, not assumptions about me, personally. I think I answered his other concerns adequately in my original post, but was more than happy to clarify above.
