Hello all.. iv been obsessively checking the internet for updates on Prometheus.. i have came to the point i feel as if i know the the full story bar some scenes... chest buster scene etc, I was wondering if any one things FOX have gave to much away!? don't get me wrong im dieing to see the film, but just feel as if all the magic of the unknowing has been taking away! I think MR Wayland, is the old man in the wheelchair! And David 8. is his eyes and ears its not only a search for how mankind has came about its about staying alive! and MR Wayland wants to live. but sends in the Prometheus with its crew 1st to see what really is in lv 225 or whatever. then MR Wayland joins up in the sister ship with the second david. when the shit has hit the fan all hell is broke lose. witch gives wayland time to get whats hes looking for technology to live for ever "BE A GOD" my theory is mr Wayland achieves his goal. some how leaves lv 225 with the remanding Prometheus crew left to a dieing fate! The ship comes up out of the ground to get wayland cause hes going back to earth. Prometheus crashes into the ship THE END! any thots or am i off track here!?

I'm 80% certain that you are incorrect on this matter. I've thought about this matter at length and have found there to be a number of complete fabrications of facts surrounding Weyland Industries intentions regarding our endeavors off world. My name IS David. Can I answer any specific questions for you regarding our Prometheus mission? No question is off limits. I am here to serve. Trust me.

I don't believe there will be two ships because there have been reports from a screening in Europe that Peter Weyland actually dies before Prometheus and it's crew arrive at the planet. Also I don't think a lot has been revealed because there still is a lot of mystery surrounding the true nature of this film. There are Alien elements to this film based off the trailer but there may not even be an cameo of the Alien because as the trailer showed its more about the Space Jockeys and their struggle for survival. I personally believe that this film will deliver what we expect from it but it will have some curve balls as well. I am a strong believer of going to see the film before jumping to conclusions. Ruins the fun of watching a movie.

I am aware of certain contingency plans, in the evnt of Mr. Weylands death, before the completion of the Prometheus mission. Details of these contingencies are, of course, sanitized.

its just a theory. im pretty sure tho that Wayland is in some way on Prometheus! In the 11 min preview from what iv read a older Wayland shows up on a hologram saying the time you receive this message i will be dead. He is apparently bald in the hologram. Why would he be there tho, And why would he send a hologram saying he would be dead by the time Prometheus landed on lv 225. my theory is hes unwell and gos into hyper sleep on the Prometheus or a another ship to find a cure. But my theory could be wrong if he dose indeed go with them to find a cure mustn't he know of some technology that can make him e mortal! if so mustn't he have been in contact with the alien race at some point and that is why he has the technology that he has! sorry im just thinking out loud here, i just thing Wayland & david are the cause of things going so wrong!

New round of investment is immediately opened and mission planning enters full-swing. January 1, 2073 theres 18 year between that! so when was the hologram made n when did thay find lv 225. plus the time line dont say that MR Wayland is dead just that a Memorial Library has been bulit. could he have when missing??

I just actually read everybody's "ideas" after posting my above comment. I have only two questions for most of you and I mean them with no disrespect: 1) Is English not most of y'all's first language? Because reading some of these posts are unbearable.... 2) How are y'all deducing these ridiculous theories about Weyland? They are really farfetched and, honestly, not very clever....

Why are there so many theories about Weyland looking for immortality, where does that come from?! Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he plays a significant role in this film, but that macguffin sucks. Oh wait....it's Lindelof.....discount nothing /////facepalm
