New Prometheus Featurette!!!

I think that the androids will finally have their day in the Alien franchise with this installment. There is just way too much emphasis on David here, and he seems way more advanced than anything done before. Maybe this is where they figure out that future androids need to be dumbed down.

I saw that skull on top as well. As said above, I think I would pass going into that dome/temple. If there is anything that means death, a skull would be it. Can't wait!!!!

@Shane: Ah yes, I remember seeing that one in the DVD extras. I was wondering what those spike things were for leading up to the path of the mouth. Looks like RS is going to make the Alien he wanted to make in the first place.

yes they have and have all been posted in the section "Prometheus Trailers", which you can conveniently link right to off the landing page pictures at the top.

looking at it again I think the 2nd spot is missing

I think allinamberclad and ebugogo are both somewhat correct. Those scenes are projected behind the actors (almost as if this is going on the DVD), but the scenes they are associated with are relevant. Notice David in front of the door he was opening in the film, Shaw in front of the lab or the med unit, Holloway in front of his room, and Weyland in front of the same room as Vickers. And why is the light in the doorway behind Pearce flashing?

Yes abordoli, they have been posted here in the news archive....which is experiencing difficulties currently with BH's upgrades, but thnat should be fixed soon...

LOVE the "pods" in the "pilot's room" are chairs...always wondered what they really were...

See that chair David rides in and sit up to the control panel to do his thing...

@Biomechanic, Ya, looks like they are bringing some artifacts from Earth with them, to compare to what they may find I guess.. And that round thing looks like a space fan...

"Vicker's quarters" look way too luxurious for anyone but a Weyland CEO........it's looking more and more like "the old man" is Weyland, himself.

@Biomechanic The wheel-like thing does seem to possess what could be foot-crank, foot-pedals and what I suppose could approximate handle-bars - in a particularly badly-designed, "thing of the future", way. I can't see what would correspond to a seat but maybe it has a magic seat made out of a hologram. Overall, I'd speculate it might be Space Exercise Equipment or something of that nature.

@Biomechanic Your picture #5 of David smiling while playing with the controls makes me think he's a bigger threat to the mission than Holloway, Blue Guys, pink worms, ampules, squidleys, or the unseen "Engineers". Yikes! Someone recall the droid!

Space Exercise Equipment.. lol. I wish they would make a play commercial with excercise equipment of the future. David can be doing the excercises of course.

The jockey images in the Orrery scene are now doing different things - one's walking toward David while the other seems to be raising its arms. And the mercenaries are shooting without Weyland being present in the doorway, or maybe just prior to his arrival?

For a few seconds you can see RS holding some sort of script. You can clip the frame and zoom in, but not entirely sure what he's got on the page, although it's not the Sunday Newspaper.

@ Silica I too noticed the mercenaries scene minus the old man! Furthermore them guns look pretty hi tech, like some kind of plasma energy, I didn't notice them being that way in the previous trailer!
