Prometheus Individual Escape Pod Question: How Do You Move Around And Eat In It

Think about it. As we can see when VIckers gets in it, the pod is contoured around the human body so it can fit in it snugly. When I see the doors close on it and eject in the featurette it made me wonder something. If the crew had to bail out of the Prometheus using the individual pods because it was badly damaged in space, did the ships designers (or film model makers in reality) of the pods stop to think if they were adrift in space for days or weeks that the pods inhabitants wouldn't be able to have room to move their arms to reach up and remove their helmets? Also it looks like their is no room to use their arms to eat anything, that is if the pod has food supplies on board in which it looks as though it doesn't. Have any of you thought of this? I seen a similar type of pod before..on Blakes 7, just a basic coffin designed...to protect the man/women inside to make planet fall.. after all most ship prob find the nearest habital planet and jettison survivers...prometheus prob has a shuttle also.. a bit like a life boat... so think escape pod /lifejacket......shuttle/lifeboat.

Those are probably not for long term evacuation, although they could have hibernation capability. One cool thing to note in the newest trailer is that you can see exactly where the pod is in relation to the ship from the inside (as well as from the outside), very cool... I agree, probably puts you into cryo like Ripleys coffin in Alien. She did manage to fall into hyper sleep for 57 years and it was blind luck that a deep salvage team found her, damn lucky to be alive! They do look fairly comfortable though but likely not a great fit for claustrophobic individuals.

It would have to be Cryo, other wise you'd go A-Insane, B-Severe muscle loss from not moving, C-Farting would be a terrible idea, D- You cant pleasure your self as people would see (Unless your into that), E-I dont see a fridge with Cheetos in
