Proteus sounds as close as you can get to Prometheus without being so unoriginal as to call it Prometheus 2 or II... Plus it alsows the mythology to morph and spin into something else from what it was to begin with... I noticed he/she: A L I E N F A N got a bit of unfair returns leveled at him/her and so became 'defender' of his/her idea. I just want you to know that it really sounds like a cool concept or idea that you have there. It could be kida cool when you think about it for a minute or so... Maybe two! I think you came up with some very exciting possibilities in your idea thread and I just wanted to say for the record that I am impressed by you and your thinking. Your alright in my book! Good on you if you are still around on site as I have read-up on some of the mythology and some peoole dared to correct you in one of your spellings of what you said was CRONOS and I read it and it is spelt as you said it was A L I E N F A N. It may have the other spellings as some-ohters claimed or stated but I got totally what you were trying to get across, o.k. Not so sure about FETUS but I can see what you were trying to convey across without all the silly disrespecful, back-biting comments that soon followed. Yes, people have an opinion as well I know but it did seem as thought certain individuals were trying to talk around you and your idea while upon your thread about something else completely and entirely like you never even existed and that, i felt was blatantly ignorant of some people upon here. But hey, I guess thats just me too! So you take it easy alright A L I E N F A N. And keep the good ideas flowing in because wouldn't it be a feather in your cap to prove eveybody wrong and you were right if the makers of Prometheus ended up going down that very same path and using that very term as you suggested! P R O T E U S Now that would be cool! And I sincerely mean it! All right! Keep up the good ideas!!! See you around the site! :-)

planets 'grow' in LV years (like a dog - 1 year actually is 7 years) - this was 29 years in the past. So 29 x 7 = 203 + 223 = 426 LV years old

@THE M O N O L I T H: Yeah that's right. It all happens on LV-426 ...moving on swiftly indeed, with a

I'm just being supportive of those who seem to have their 'voice' pushed out... I guess thats what you get for speaking out... Maybe thats why the other guy don't seem to be on here much. Anyway, if someone could provide an answer to the LV-223 conundrum for me I would be most grateful... Thanks! :-)

by then I reckon LV would be 658 years old and just a planet full of asshuggers hugging themselves because there are simply no asses left to hug

actually asshugger is the hilarious name given to a creature in prometheus the forum it started in was awesome and forgive me but I don't even remember how it was started or who said it but I give them mad props because it was funny as hell LV 223 is the planet prometheus takes place on just search for it on this site or your favorite search engine and youll find a wealth of information IMO you should stick to one name "if" that is what is going on either way I need no explanation just stick to one I'm moving on now. goodbye

The mod's/admins should introduce a short questionaire in order to register, just about the basic known film's facts. It would keep trolls, spambots, idiots AND malfunctioning monoliths at distance! I've said it before, but no one's listening. On the other hand, discussions like this are prizeless and most entertaining. LOL
