Alien Resurection is the Best!

Admitted Alien snob that I am, I did prefer Alien R over Alien 3. Though I wish they held back on the infusion of humour the director stupidly felt the franchise needed. Especially after the appropriately grisly scene of torching those ghastly aborted hybrids. That's supposed to be the most moving part of the film and when that @$$hole glibly said, "Must be a chick thing," I never wanted to reach thru the screen and strangle a character so badly. The best use of humour was when the aliens were trying to lure the humans by leaving a weapons trail like breadcrumbs.

I don't think Ressurection is that bad, infact I like it. Bad is AVP, AVP:R..that is my definition of complete shit At least 'Rez' has a couple of interesting ideas and cool visuals..I really don't like the humour and the marines/soldiers...Winona was OK..If it was made a bit darker with a more serious mindset, this could have been a winner Oh and why is the newborn so bad? follows logically..if Ripley is cloned, and the DNA is contaminated, it is likely this will happen..It's not like they just added it for no reason...the build up was sound seriously movies are so shit these days, that this movie is a classic in comparison...

We have place for people who like Alien Res, Nice, comfortable shiny places where you can play and be happy and be with others, like you. It's for the best.

I've not seen the movies "Bacon" or Alien "Ressurection" but I've seen Alien Resurrection, and that's a good movie.

Alien 1 and 2 parts for me. Rest of the others are fail on me. Also AVP 1 was good 2 was super crappy.

lol @ dallas...yes it's called my Alien Marathon Party...Rez is compulsory after 3 ok, so if you had to choose between Rez and AVP, which would it be?

@the coming If I can pretend that I am Joel from Mystery Science Theater 3000, then AVP. That movie had no clue how bad it was. Otherwise, Alien Rez. The filmmakers were tongue in cheek so it's kind of hard to make fun of it from some superior place. Just watch and laugh. I mean, Brad Dourif. Stack Alien Rez with Graveyard Shift and you have a Brad fest that will keep you laughing all night.

The alien baby may not be the best design, but it does have a menacing effect. The final scenes of this film are not really that bad. The narration by that walled-up scientist in the egg nest are classic! I thought Ripley's character in this one was sublimely acted and the humor flawless.
