MASSIVE SPOILERS: BEWARE - Fake script dont seem so Fake

Another stand out point is that the so called fake script contains in its final scene another ship but not the same ship as the engineer ship in prometheus clips, it states that this ship contains no sarcophagus and this pilot is not encased by the chair suit but his engineer suit, which would explain why the engineer in Alien looks more like an engineer in a bio protection suit with a frontal pipe than the encasing pilot seat that looks slightly elephantine.

you obviusly know wath an ORRERY is, and i guess youre a fanboy like everybody else here. considering the 4 sarcophagus. you can see them in the first ever trailer when the ORRERY(pilot chair) raises from the podium, and it has been discussed before im sure. and we know that the engineer, space jockey, call him wathever you want, is humanoid looking, you can see the back of his head by the waterfall in on of the trailers, and also see him standing next to the chair when it raises in the very first trailer. i think it was made very clear by ridley 30 years ago that the elephant looking thing was a suit. and i think you see that aswell in the trailers. you can see the biomechanical ribcabe close around the pilots chest.

Im good at dedecting bullshit and i can honestly say it dont feel fake, ive read the 1st few scenes and it feels and flows like a feature film it got mthat x-factor about it, if its fake the guy who wrote it is a clever charismatic guy because im reading it and picturing it and it just flows realy well i never knew what an ORREREY was i had to look it up, like most fanboys, so the scriptwriter is clued up on some things script im reading is at [url]http://www.prometheusforum.net/fake-leaked-script.txt[/url] My opinion its well written.

We all saw the chair rising in the teaser trailer and immediately started wondering about why one of the coffin like things on the floor looked open. So I have to apologize, but any of the members of this forum could have taken the pieces that we'd seen and draft that "script" up. You are also forgetting some of the things that we have seen are not mentioned at all in that "script," such as David playing basketball, the conversation between David and Holloway in what looks like the rec room (where they are talking next to the pool table,) no mention or description of the Cobralien at all and more importantly, the removal of the organism from Shaw in the medpod. Where she screams "PLEASE!" It just isn't there in any dialogue. There are just way too many missing or extremely altered parts and frankly, the ending of it was absolute dogshit in my opinion. Oh, and the author of the thing was found and it was debunked about a week after it came out.

yes it is well written, the script and your opinion. hats of. But all im saying is that its alot of good writers out there, even on this forum. snorkelbottom has posted some of his own scripts and they are relly good for example(I dont meen i think he wrote the script in the link, he is just a good writer thats all). most of all i guess i hope its fake aswell, otherwise the guy who leaked it is a real douche.

This has been discussed to death - the script is fake. The writer has owned up and if that's not enough see if you can find a single line of dialogue in it that features in the many trailers. It's also set on LV426 oops! I also think it's rather badly written with some nasty typos as well.

im not saying that its the shooting script which has all the accurate language and basketball scenes, sitting at table scenes, but this to me reads like its draft 2 and i bet its the same core that is at the heart of the polished shoot script. This to me is official, im a quarter in and its got humour, its fast paced it dont seemed sloppy or amature. Why would someone make a fake this good when they could just change a few of the settings and have an original good script for their own gain. i read a lot of spec script stuff and even big movies like terminator 2, aliens, avatar dont come across this good in spec stage.

as i said its a spec script, do you not understAND HOW SCRIPTWRITNG WORKS, you write 1st spec its rushed, then you flesh it out with draft 2 spec script, then you get it sold and when it gets made it gets polished into a proper shooting script. This is the spec (rough) core of the film.

yet still no mention of the cobralien or any of the scenes with the holograms. None of it was in there. And why "leak" a script that wasn't the shooting script? And, one more time now, it was debunked by the author himself. So not at all official. Sorry.

Massive spoiler my axx .... 1) Fox did never ask to remove it ... so its fake 2) Lindeloff and Spahits have said is fake 3) it miss alot of key scenes 4) it have grammar errors 5) the dialogue is EMBARASSING !!! Its FAKE stop posting about it .

I will say it again - the guy has admitted it was fan fiction - do a search and you will see my friend - and thank God it is fake!

Fox cant take down anything its illegal to command peoples free rights 2. spahitis has made the error of having thjings on his twitter about ORREREYS and ORREREYS appear in the script. hmmm sounds like a hallmark got left in there. 3. keys scenes are missing, yep because its a 2nd draft spec that you use to sell an idea with and its not a 4th draft shoot script which you use to direct the film with. 4. grammar errors, definatly specs used to get ideas across usually do. 5. Dialogue in a spec is as raw as possible by the time you write the 4th draft shoot the dialogue is fleshed out and accurate. This is the core of the film and ill be proved right on June 1st

the reason the shooting script isnt leaked is because thats when a studio clamps down on scripts getting out, but specs are used like demo cds by musicians they are thrown about to agents and actors to just get a rough concept across.

Of course they might have been misleading but, if an early script doesn't need to portray David playing "bikesketball", I then assume that it wouldn't talk about an "orrery" either, since the name orrery was attributed to it when they were building the set (I remember reading an interview about the origin of the term). I am not saying that the script is necessarily fake (though I understand it has been heavily debunked already) but I wouldn't trust it a priori based on the fact that one piece of alleged insider information clashes with the lack of insight on anything else. In short: a leaked script that only connects the dots between older trailers and uses a "big word" to impress doesn't seem any truer to me.

And the guy that wrote it owned up and said it wasn't real. For, what, the 6th time now? I understand what you're trying to say Dolf, but the fact is it was debunked by the guy that wrote it. So there's a pretty good reason to believe him. Sorry, but I'm going to lock this one. It's been disproven, more than once.
