Everything with Hudson is gold.
But my favorite is his bit when Bishop volunteers to pilot the drop ship.
"Yeah, good idea, Bishop should go!"
Cracks me up just thinking about him nodding his head and saying that line.
And of course, his reclaiming his manhood and giving it to the xenos. The child inside me still vainly hopes somehow Hicks will pull him up this time.
Even Aliens haters have to love Hudson. And if they don't then screw them.

When the Colonial Marines are in the locker room gearing up and Apone comes in and starts yelling "Get on the Ready Line" and they all start running to the hanger. "AHHHHHHH Absolute Bad Assess"

I like when Ripper's takes command of the APC. You could just feel how sick she was of seeing people die because no-one would listen to her (Ash telling her not to go out after Kane, Dallas abusing her for not opening the airlock, Ash disregarding her order, Ash wanting to keep the organism, corporates from Weyland telling her they know best, colonial marines telling her they know best, etc).

@dallasdallas,
You are right, if you don't love hudson, something is wrong with you!
BUT, I am going to have to nod with @yotoddy and go with Sgt. Apone.
I am former Military, and my favorite part is when they come out of cryo-sleep and Sgt. Apone sits up, put's his cigar in his mouth and immediatly starts barking orders!... LMAO! I use his lines at work and around the house to get my kids getting after thier chores.

More quotable quotes from Sgt Apone......" Alright sweethearts, you heard the man & you know the drill......arse holes & elbows!"

For me, the scene that always gets me going is when Ripley, alone and armed with a pulse rifle/flamethrower combo, is in that elevator descending into hell, all for the love she has for little Newt. Knowing that she is the only hope that kid has, she straps on her gear, steels herself for whatever horrors lie ahead, and takes off after Newt. The score during that scene really puts you in the mindset with her, that you're getting ready to face something terrible in the hopes of saving that poor little kid. There are many scenes in that film I love, but the power of seeing Ripley prepare for war just hits me every time. Her maternal instinct, whether you're watching the theatrical or director's cut, is emotionally engaging as a viewer and you're rooting for her to pull off what appears to be the impossible.
I'm also always moved when she first finds Newt's wristband. You can see the pain of loss on Ripley's face (truly earned her Oscar nod here) and then that mixture of joy/relief and momma instinct kick in when she hears Newt scream upon seeing the facehugger egg hatch.
I know many here hate on Aliens - why, I'll never know - but I don't think any of you can deny the emotional impact of this sequence. If you do, you're just drinking too much Haterade!
