Damon Lindelof expands on 'Alien' link

Damon Lindelof has confirmed there is a stronger link to 'Alien' than he and RS have initially led people to believe in previous interviews: [url=http://www.nme.com/filmandtv/news/prometheus-writer-talks-alien-links/268356]Read it here[/url] It appears they just didn't want the film to be thought as PURELY as a prequel. Although he isn't blatant about it in his comments, my conclusion at the end of article is that he is saying it most certainly IS a prequel, but it is also a lot more than that and could turn in to it's own separate series with sequels of it's own. The second last paragraph especially seems to confirm what a lot of us believed anyway by letting us know that the way the title is revealed was done specifically to let show a stong connection. I for one am happy to hear this as I was most excited about Prometheus when I thought it was a direct prequel. What do you think?
