Vessels under the Statue

Sorry if it is repeated. I am not so sure what these vessels are. Any idea what is appropriate name for that small thingy? I have also noticed similar sand structure near beach. What do you call that in english for such structures? I have noticed in all Alien movies that facehuggers are not going near to the androids. And adult species are just attacking the androids, so yeah, i guess these aliens are smart to understand the difference between organic and android life.
