Space Jockey To Engineer: “You Complete Me.”

Engineer to Jockey: “You had Me At Hologram.” Could it be that the Space Jockey and the Engineer beings are two completely different forms of life, who work together in a symbiotic relationship, each having their own brain, and or other respective organs, etc… Two beings that act as one, when necessary and or beneficial. I know this kind of stuff has be touched on, but I couldn’t find a close enough pre-existing topic/thread to add to. If this is the case, maybe all sides of The Great Space Jockey Skeleton Debate can be satisfied. Thoughts? ~N

And I was wrong, the Jockeys are still in charge, but I was right they are much much much bigger here...like by 6 feet at least...And...there ARE 2 seperate races of aliens involved aside from Humans !!!!

@Forever War I like and agree with your ideas. The "George Lucas suit" line cracked me up. Maybe Rid Scott should've consulted with you and I, before proceeding with the production. Ha! ~N P.S. Even the ALIEN soundtrack titled the music for that scene, "THE SKELETON"

Thanks...I just feel that whatever story we see must have a flow that fits on the screen without tons of dialogue explaining every last detail....there are many great ideas online that are creative, and novel...and also complicated to the point of lending themselves more to literature than film. Really, the ideas I have come not from what I desire this film to be, but what I find logical given the info that is now available, including interviews from Scott, Lindelof and Spaihts...its not only what they say, but how they say it that may be the most telling of all to me.

The suit is organic. Maybe heightens Engineer abilities. Regardless of what it's actual functions are. I'm pretty content on it not being another species. Would be...A bit ridiculous. Although i discussed it's function of high-tech hot-boxing, or was that the sarcophagus? ...Oh, yeah, that's right, it's a massage chair. Once an Engineer has gone through heavy Hot-Boxophagus use, he then proceeds to the chair for back, neck, and scalp stimulation. It'll pull a number on you, im sure...

The High Priest Chariots of the Gods + Temples + Spacesuit With Load Bearing Structural Members Resembling Bones But Not Bones + Metro Archaeologist mit Scarf + Uber Hoodie Wearing Jackass = to me, a Lindeloaf getting baked and frosting applied. Despite all this, I will cut Ridley's space until I see the film...he has done so much quality work that I can't ignore the possibilty that what he said was....well, frankly, I dont know what to think about it. With Alien, Ridley had the advantage of a torpedo...almost total surprise, he caught so many people off guard in those days. With Prometheus, he doesn't have that advantage, but what I am seeing here is another device in play...masterful misdirection on a scale I have never seen before. It's the size of that effort that has me convinced that at least Ridley believes he has a big one for us. I will wait and see the film....right now I'm on the fence.

Yes it looks like a Skeleton but Ridley had said its not...... Things change, Ridley has decided to change the look of the Derelict to make it less Organic, that dont mean that the Derelict in Prometheus is a completely different kind of ship.... So you dont buy the Giant Humans (or not so ;( in suits theory?). So whats the explanation for the Space Jockey suits on the walls? Just Statues? I am with the Engineers being in the suits..... But after the last shots i have seen, well i think unless Ridley has a good twist and explanation the Engineer seems to change size lol.. i predict major Ridley Screw Up myself.... unless the one at the end of the movie is a transformed crew member which i doubt. You see the guy in the seat and guy standing near chair looks big compared to the 15ft archways leading to the Orrey Room The one who attacks Shaw on some ship maybe Prometheus... well he is 8ft in high heels....
