My theory(s) of the minute(s) *SPOILERS*

Its all a bit odd.... i never beleaved that someone would become a Engineer. However SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER.... - - - - - - - - Someone else who claims to have seen the movie claims that Holloway is mind controlled and infected to make Shaw Pregnant and that Weyland gets into the SJ suit and becomes one of them....... - - - - - - - END SPOILER..... Sounds a bit lame and simular to the other so called person who viewed the movie..... Saying that this person does describe the Xeno type Alien not yet seen in this movie apart from its Tenticle, to be exactly the same as what someone who saw the thing on set and props and concept art described the creature as beeing and thats 2 Legs and 2 Arms with 2 Tenticles..... the image he showed me also seems like the Mural one.

I'm not sure really, we don't see much of him apart from the eye scene and when he's on the bed really so i have no idea.

Holloway was infected by an urn sample possibly and then went back to the ship unknowing of the infection, rubs the sheets with Shaw who then ends up with a very disagreeable baby and ends up in the med-pod.

Lame, very lame. We are dealing with bioengineering at the very core of the Engineers tool bag. Our folks wondering in, starry-eyed poke their fingers into things best left alone by mortal man and... well let's just say it's a bad day for the Prometheus "crew expendable." LMAO

i think holloway gets his little friend on the first trip to the temple, and when they come back, we see him notice it in his eye, and he and shaw get it on. then they go back, and he starts to feel the effects, thats where we see one of the more recent scenes (in the featurette i believe) of holloway pale faced and strange looking on the ground of the temple, and shaw saying something like "this is an emergency, we have to go". this is the trip where milburn is infected as well. the snake goes into him, maybe uses him to infect fifield somehow (we also saw a scene where it seemed milburn was dead, and something came spewing out of his face into someone elses, or at them at least. how fifield gets infected is still a mystery). this is when they come back with infected people, holloway/milburn/fifield (probably not milburn), and vickers comes out with the flamethrower. holloway says "im fine, let me in", then he collapses and turns into something awesome that kills the mechanic who tries to help him, and all hell breaks lose. you have to assume, that once things get nasty down there, they dont go back, unless its for something other than research.

thats a good catch Rawr, im not sure anyone had made it certain that that was holloway (though with the thoroughness of the guys here, i have to assume they did, and i just didnt know it) he starts up in the temple, and they pull out, and when they get him out of the rover, he starts up again. then it seems like he feels better, and tries to convince vickers to let him on. vickers either torches him, perhaps knowing what they are encountering, or he just goes down again, and then gets back up, mutated, staring that mechanic in the face. i wish we could get a better look at what that thing is, but some things have to be left for the film.

@gameover man Yes thats just as i have been thinking and saying... Holloway either gets infected in the temple at the first visit or maybe in some scene not seen yet when they get back onto the ship... Maybe he and David examine the Urn... Also we see a scene with someone with some goo in their fingers we dont see who that is, also is it not Holloway who is the first one to take his helmet off? They do seem to go down at least twice and maybe 3 times, its just so hard to figure out...

Thats another good point gameover man.... While i think Fifield is the guy who aproaches the Mechanic, we cant rule out Holloway... I think what happens is this.... Holloway is infected when they first go down, either from the Temple or when they study the Urn.... dont forget they seem to go back to the ship after fleeing a Sand Storm and have taken samples which i assume is the Jockey Head and Urn, now David 8 is shown examing the Urn on Prometheus so we know they come back and then set off to the temple again. Also Vickers is wearing her grey suit before they set down, and while they explore the temple and see Mural and then after when they examine the Jockey Head. So they go down again and i think this is after Vickers warns them "if you go down there you will die" to Holloway and Shaw and i assume Holloway has the love scene with Shaw before this and notices the thing in his eyes just after but before Vickers warns them.... Vickers is not wearing her grey suit but the dark all on one ake like 7 of 9 outfit. The crew venture deeper inside this time, as they dont have to evacuate due to incomming Storm.... This is when things go bad.... i assume Shaw and David go off to the Orrey Room but Shaw leaves to attent Holloway after hearing he is not well. David is left to activate the Hollogram... While Milburn and Fifield run into CobraXeno.... We see a scene where the crew again rush back after Shaw says they have a Emergency and Vickers tells them to get out.... We see them leaving the ATV we see Shaw and Ford carrying Holloway and he collapses.... i dont think Ford and Shaw would leave him... Vickers tells everyone to get back to the ship now... maybe Shaw and Ford go to the ship or not, its hard to say... I think that Fifield wonders onto the ship confronts the Mechanic and attacks the crew in the Hanger, one shot we can see from outside and it shows Mercs running into the ship shooting from outside, while another shows them entering via a door shooting inside Prometheus. I would assume that they torch Fifield, and then Holloway gets up and tries to get on board but Vickers after seeing infected Fifield, does not want to let him on... Holloway has his hands raised as if he is trying to get Vickers to see he is fine and not like Fifield.... Does she let him aboard? Who knows...
