Shaw vs the Big guy

its clear from the screen shots that the blue guy and the burned guy or either seperate indiviuals or the sceens we see of them are seperate sequences. the one grabbing shaw looks burned and the one running through chasing someone isnt at least not yet in the film at that point....it also is possible that the one that isnt burned is chasing vickers as it looks to be the same hallway and door we she her so quicking trying to get through....just a thought my guess the burned guy is fifield mutated.....the blue guy goes to the ship to investigate as mutated crew cause chaos (by the way the engineer controls them ...lol) blue guy runs across shaw realizes shes pregnant ....lol

that's not fifield she is burning, it's holoway and is clearly not the same scene, as the part with mutant fifield the bay is strewn with wreckage and debris

umm his arms and legs are extremely long, and his right hand looks very weird and big not like the SJ or anything :S what's he turning into. I think he is going to turn into some sort of crazy monster, possibly like xeno but different because he looks extremely weird to me right there, forget turning into SJ.

The vibe that I get from these scenes isn't so much sci-fi horror as domestic violence. "Oh my God, there is a man who is slightly taller than average chasing me!" Unless he turns out to be bulletproof, flamerproof, and axeproof he doesn't seem all that scary or threatening. Jack Nicholson was scarier in The Shining than this guy is in the trailers. Of course, there is probably more that we haven't seen yet that makes him more threatening on some existential level or something. But, still - "Scary blue man chasing me!" Doesn't really press my terror buttons.

what if you die if he touches you? what if you mutate? what if you cut him with an axe and then get a face full of acid? What if he wants revenge on you personally? What if he's going to take you to a rape tank full of alien tentacles? Would you be scared then takka_takka_takka?

the above was not the completed shot, now that it has been completed in one of the later trailers, his limbs are not extended, it can be clearly seen that it is a burning fifield, complete with red mohawk

@Fury 161 Actually we have no cue about the order of the scenes. And I think it would be extraordinary if a pre-production shot was more elaborated than the real scene...

More: I saw someone in other thread saying that Vickers burns Fifield also. I was under the impression that she appears in this hangar scene later, possibly after the guys shoot the mutant Fifield, but can´t identify the specific footage (they are too many by this height). Well, we will know soon!
