Holloway is blank in expression and his head continues to twitch as he approaches Vickers, who is equipped with flamethrower.

At first it looked as if he was just shaking his head but watch it in fullscreen and pay attention to how blank and expressionless he is; nothing feels natural about it, its creepy and gives us an idea of the tense situations that will be featured in the film.
I'm thinking whatever infected him has complete control.
Honestly, I'm taking all this speculation very lightly, as we may not have a single clue how or when things will play it out in the film.
