Who care if we see the xenomorph? Who wants something new from these great minds

I hope its new horror, new fears, new monsters under the bed...

Yup. Xenomorph is overused concept. Anything overused in sci-fi loses it's charm.
Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.

Personally, I could not give one single flying damn if I never saw another in my life.
It's been done. To death.

I won't miss seeing a "real" one in the film, but given the image this site is using for 'Prometheus Trailers,' we are going to get some more back story about them, at the very least.
I think the Alien is still one of the scariest creatures in film up to date and nothing in horror has come close to it... yet.

I agree. I hope for something new and unique

I LOVE alien, i mean, it scared the shit of me when i was a kid, the creatures, the world...
I just cant wait to see what Ridly can come up with, think of how much more disturbing a story now could be, back in 79 the censores were more tough...
I want to feel very creeped out!!!!

That too. (Unless you're screaming really loudly into your coms device and broadcasting on all channels.)

@MVMK: Well, with Ridley Scott saying something like, "I'm going to scare the living shit out of you," I think you can be rest assured on that. ; )

Love the poster man !
Of course I'd also like to see some thing a bit more "physical" than worms snakes and greek gods like a monster with a second jaw nothing more... and I don't care if it's xenomorphic or not... But ... I'll wait for the movie to be either utterly happy or disappointed.
Anyway back to the poster:
The way Fox has asked Ridley to handle alien DNA idea makes me want to puke. Now it's official; According to Spaith Fox asked that Prometheus wouldn't be a prequel (if I am not mistaken) :
"Fox had long-insisted that "Prometheus" carried only 'strands of D.N.A.' from Scott's original "Alien" film, with studio execs publicly denying that the film was an "Alien" prequel. But Scott himself obliquely admitted in March at WonderCon that the storylines had become more intertwined during development, affirming what movie bloggers had been conjecturing for months.
"There's a larger philosophical debate around that debate," Spaihts says of the "Alien" disclaimer, adding that he wasn't involved in the decision to play coy -- nor did he understand it.
"Certainly it's set in the universe of 'Alien' and prior to the events of 'Alien,'" he says. "

I agree Newtella. The very first Alien is gonna be a tough one to beat!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Not sure why though. 20 more years of nightmares if they can improve on the original!
